Even worse: my local retailer has received NO copies of the game at all; they won't be getting any before 25 January (+ 2 days to distribute them to all their stores)... how about that for a "thank you for pre-ordering"!? %(

On the bright side: gives me an extra week to contribute to the Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer challenge.

Obviously it's selling out. We PS3 gamers are a classy bunch and recognize artistic brilliance when we see it. A buggy, save game eating masterpiece but a masterpiece nonetheless

all three GAME shops in Southampton's West Quay and Bargate area are pretty well stocked as I saw yesterday afternoon, all close to eachother if anyone is looking in that area. HMV had a few as well but at a suspiciously higher price than 39.99

i don't understand why you would want to play this on a console.

ROFLMAO
It's a real challenge, I'll tell ya that much. I wish I had more hot keys to have a freer flowing game. And to think of all the mods u guys can do, having all recruitment missions available from the start, etc.

Chris Priestly wrote...

Hey, here's a thought (and I say this with love)  "if you can't say something nice/stay on topic, don't say anything at all/shut up. ;)

This isn't a marketing ploy. Please explain to me how posting "we don't have enough games for you" HELPS us in some way? Yes, ME2 on PS3 is popular (this is good news), but thsi shouldn't be news to anyone. Yes it is also available digitally for those who prefer that.

This thread is to help people in North America who are having trouble finding a copy find one. Yes, telephoning around or using websites is also a good idea, but having fans halp fans is what being part of a community is all about.

So help if you can, if you can't, sit back and let those who can help.

lol basically what he is saying here is - if your post doesn't contribute to our marketing ploy then I don't want you to post anything. Awesome view Chris!

By the way, as people have already said:

It's a rediclously slim chance that someone posts a store in your area. Also, this IS misleading in that, A.) it actually doesn't HELP us in any way because of the small chance and B) this is a great way to generate buzz for those 'impulse buyers' or 'on the fence' buyers who were unsure of buying it before but 'hey if it's selling out, it must be great!'

I'd be rather interested to know if Is there ANYONE here who HAS used the information by the few 'here in my store' posts.

One more thing to note:

The 'list what you've seen in your local store' is such a pointless idea because you know companies can tell you via phone or in-store or even on their websites - what is in-stock state wide/nation wide.
