So... ARE we going to see any Quarian's faces in ME3? I mean, they've been putting off revealing the answer to the mystery for two games now... I REALLY want to see what they look like... I'd also like to see a Volus but obv I'm more interested in Quarians.

I can't really imagine what they may look like, but I actually think their "placeholder" faces don't look so bad, I wouldn't mind if their "real" face looked something like this =]

I want to know how they look only in "RP" way. Preferably by romancing one. What I have been thinking is that could a human breed with them? If they are so sensitive to everything bacteria thingys. I have been thinking it would not be possible, at least not casually. Anyway what interests me more is can humans breed casually with Quarians.

Edit: (Remember it would be a megaspoiler to reveal here how they look, if someone should find that info.)

Edit: (Oh well, it was actually a spoiler to know you can't know in ME and ME2 how Qunarie look. But I don't blame you, I am very sensitive even to "minor" spoilers regarding lore.)

Sorry they have incompatible DNAs and exchanging bodily fluids could kill Tali. Doesn't mean you can;t love her though. Image IPB

Speak to Mordin in the game and he will give you details if you choose Tali as the romance option. You have to do this after her loyalty mission and pick the appropriate responses to lock it in.

Tragic though it may be, it's true. Tali's dextro-protein system couldn't conceive from Shepard's levo-protein DNA. That being said, I don't think that particular body fluid exchange would result in guaranteed death because, as I recall, the body doesn't drawn any nutrition from that particular sample.

I could be wrong though, and we all just saw that that wouldn't be the first time.

What would be dangerous about that exchange is the simple fact of a foreign body causing an allergic reaction. But with her immuno-boosters, herbal supplements, and antibiotics, that can be controlled.

Oh, you can romance her? Interesting.

Was thinking that if you can "romance" those blue women who don't have males at all, then interracial "romancing" should not be a problem (except of course with humans and Quarians, but there must be some kind of "safe sex" possibility".)

I agree.

(And sorry everyone but in my opinion this thread should be moved away from no spoilers area. Nothing personal and not blaming but it just is so in my opinion, but I can be wrong in that.)

By the way those blue women being able to try breed with humans and other races very much suggests imcompatible DNA doesn't matter. It would be only immunology issue. So the answer to the question might be "no" since they would really not use all that gear if immunology things were well manageable without.

This however rises a question how they breed themselves since possibly they everyone have individual bacteria things in the same way as humans do. If you get cancer and need to get radiation treatment you will be put in similar conditions as Quanari live inside their suits to avoid all external contamination sources.

Replace the hair with a short-haircut-like feather, two fangs and you got the Quarian race (male/female).

I like very much of your vision of female Quarians.

Those aren't placeholders. They are there to give their faces three-dimensional structure under the visor of the mask, rather than having shape of their noses and eyes painted onto the visor texture. Reading anything more than that into it is stretching the intent of the design team.

Exactly. it at least clarifies that they have human-like faces, but that's it. I mean, you can see that Tali has a nose, 2 eyes and a mouth, even when you're just talking to her in-game.

Those faces in the pic are most certainly not how they're supposed to look. So I agree with your post marshalleck.

That all said, the only way I'd be cool with them revealing her face is if they face-scanned Liz Sroka. Because she's pretty and then her voice would match up perfectly. Otherwise, they shouldn't do it at all, but that's just my 2 cents.

Space elves? LOL In most stories the elves simply "went away somewhere never to be seen again", vanished, enslaved, or killed to extinction, etc. The fact that a race of elves actually made into space would be interesting.
