What I don't understand is why talimancers keep pulling up that fan made picture of tali if they still want the mystery.

What I have been thinking is that could a human breed with them? If they are so sensitive to everything bacteria thingys. I have been thinking it would not be possible, at least not casually. Anyway what interests me more is can humans breed casually with Quarians.

Your answer is no.
[biology]
Quarians do not share a single gene with us. Reproduction is completely impossible. Quarians are less closely related to us than Dogs, Lizards, Fish, Flat Worms, Jelly Fish, Protzoa and Bacteria. Considering that it would be impossible toreproduce with a Chimp, which shares 96% of our DNA, that should just show you that reproducing with a Quarian is impossible, as they share 0.00% of our DNA.
And a discussion of genetic incompatibility ignores the fact that every single protein in a Quarian's body has the opposite chirality of a Humans, meaning that they are completely incompatable and they interact in ways that they are not designed to. Hence, human food potentially being deadly poison to Quarians. Hence, human gametes are potentially deadly poision to Quarians.
[/biology]
[gamefiction]
The Asari side step this because there is no physical mixing of genetic material. Through Mass Effect space magic, they are able to psychically scramble their babies' DNA using another creatures DNA. So things like, different numbers of chromosomes, or gamete compatibility, or protein chirality don't come into play, because of space magic.[/gamefiction]
[biology]
This implies that Asari could actually probably mate with any living organism. Including Bacteria.
[/biology]
So you have any better ideas? go ahead, post some pictures.armass wrote...

Replace the hair with a short-haircut-like feather, two fangs and you got the Quarian race (male/female).
Yep, purple space elves, exactly what I fear they will end up looking like. SIGH

Space elves? LOL In most stories the elves simply "went away somewhere never to be seen again", vanished, enslaved, or killed to extinction, etc. The fact that a race of elves actually made into space would be interesting.

The glowing eyes might be due to some implant that helps them seem better through their visors, or merely a reflection through the visor. I remember the Asari council member's eyes having a slight glow or shine to them in the center.
