boy do I feel stupid for having to ask a question like this, but I havn't been able to solve it myself and no harm in asking what is typically an extremely friendly and courteous community.

I recentyl purchased a new keyboard for my PC (Razer Lycosa http://store.razerzo...goryId.35156900 if the keyboard itself even matters) and have had issues when trying to take a screenshot in ME2. as ME2 is an incredibly cinematic game with some truly amazing scenes in it, I had hoped to make a sort of collage of my favorite images. however, I can't get my "Pr Sc" button to actually take a screenshot.

is this something on my keyboard's end? something on ME2's end? or is it a general PC configuration option? any help solving this conundrum is greatly appreciated.

The Pr Sc key doesn't systematically work with games, there's nothing wrong with your keyboard.



You could edit your coalisced.ini file to bound a key to take screeenshots but I found out recently that this function doesn't work during cinematics. Soy ou best bet would be to use Fraps.

PrintScreen actually does take a screen shot which it posts into Windows clipboard, which you can then paste into paint, photoshop and the like. It does mean alt-tabbing out to do it, and doesnt let you take rapid fire screenies of action. As Dorryn mentioned, Fraps is your best bet, unless you have a PC which only just meets the game requirements, in which case you might find it impacting game playability.
