We all know that the Paragons of Orzammar are the proper beings for reverence...At least they were real and did great things for their people.



Give me one thing that the so called "maker" did for me...besides aparantly creating the darkspawn? Very helpful with that, thanks a lot...

My hawke will prob end up being much like my warden in the fact that they both believe in the maker but have serious issues with organised religion. So I guess I will not be siding with the chantry anytime soon lol

I argue within the setting there is currently no convincing argument that would make the existence of a creator a matter debate. We haven't been offered an alternative theory to explain life, universe and everything with regard to Thedas. Now wheter the that creator is the Maker the Chantry describes is another issue.

The Maker exists, he even took a mortal wife. But that turned out badly 'cause we went & killed her. So he took a step back & let us kick around awhile & think about all the bad thinks we'd done. But it's only been a few hundred years & all of a sudden people start to think he doesn't exist!

To paraphrase Morrigan (who makes a suprisingly good point here), even if the Maker existed (as described by the chantry) why would any idiot worship a god that turned it's back on humanity not once but twice?!
