I know that Merrill is taken as a given on these forums because of her appearance in the video, but keep in mind that we haven't officially announced her yet, either. As for the order and number of character announcements to come, for that you will have to wait and see. There is a Plan.

Yes? I said she's taken as a given on these forums-- it's not as if you guys haven't sussed out that she's in the game. What I'm saying is that the official announcements that get made by Marketing aren't solely directed at the people on these forums, and Merrill making an unnamed 3-second appearance in the last video is not an official announcement for her.

Actually, I have no idea. I'm just trying to head off the idea that this MMC must be the next announcement since you guys "already know" about Merrill.

It's not a big deal. People get excited and speculate. It's when the speculation becomes self-referencing that it becomes problematic, because not everyone who comes here knows that self-referencing is occurring. Either way, no need to eugh too hard about it.
