Personally I would have loved it if he turned out to be Alistair's brother (as many people were guessing pre-awakening release). Errr. Half brother. Would make him seem less of a ripoff and be great way to tie alistair into the story on some level.

It's quite clear this can't be the case though, right?

I remember this theory.

It would be awesome if we find him as a character, even if not a companion. Maybe we don't even know if he is Wynne's son. And if he's Hawke's half-brother? Hoho ~ /speculationisspeculated

Huh.  I think that must be very stress-relieving to be able to say "meh" about being old.

I think there's a good chance that another companion will be revealed in Feb 1 (since i heard something will definately happen in this date). Talking about companions, idea of Anders really apeals to me ;d, though Wayne might have interesting story to tell too..

It could be Anders. He joins Hawke before the events of DA:A and leaves when DA:A starts, and if he dies in DA:A he doesn't return, if he doesn't die he returns. I think this would be a really bold step for BioWare to take, and it's probably the best way to use the save imports.



P.S: Anders doesn't need to be a GW.

Well, we can't do much but wait. At this rate we're doing little more than speculating the same things over and over again. I hope we get some new information.

I skipped Step 2 as I was told that I'd just be back at Step 1, so...



You could do a similar thing with Lost, but at the end of the last season you just want to bang you head against a wall instead of being confused. <_<

The intro for every episode of the recent Battlestar Galactica series said that the Cylons "had a plan" -

but by the end of the series you realize that they really did NOT have a plan. It was just a catchy thing for the title sequence.

They had no plan.

Like the writers of Lost.
