Interesting. While I think the armor looks ugly and completely out of place, this might be the final reason for me buying DS2. I thought the first looked fun but for some reason I never bothered in getting it - I suppose it seemed a bit too much like Bioshock, and I already had that.

I don't really like the whole "buy this game and get armor in a different unrelated game" thing going on here, but whatever.

I was already planning to get Dead Space 2, so this is a nice bonus. But I wouldn't buy it just for the armour.

Not too keen on the armor tbh. Looks good in Dead Space, but in Dragon Age it just makes you look like a power ranger that has fallen into another dimension.

Dragon Age:Origins and Mass Effect 2 are completely unrelated and nobody comlained about the Blood Dragon Armor from what i can recall.

If you mean Dead Space 2 not being developed by Bioware that's a silly reason. Visceral and Bioware are both EA companies so they are related games technically.

I was contemplating getting Dead Space 2 anyway. I think the armor looks decent aside from the helm, which coincides with my feelings about the Blood Dragon Armor also.

Dead space is one of the best and scariest games I've ever played, it must have just seen and heard, but that is with Dead Space2 arms in da 2 absolutely ridiculous when you consider almost had the game in Germany is not the release of Done .

Then, this gift would be perfect sense free, but sometimes I need that armor is not absolute, but it fits to the negative space, but otherwise it looks funny in the Middle Ages see but from at least better than the dragon armor from ME 2

Shame on you Bioware, this is a disgusting use of marketing. There are fans of yours that dont like dead space (or name your EA game here) and by pulling this crap you hurt YOUR fans, who now either miss out on dragon age content or cough up full retail for something they may not be interested in - just to get the 'full' dragon age experiance. You guys should feel embarrased.

And there are fans of theirs who don't like Dragon Age, but they didn't **** and moan (Well, some did) about the Blood Dragon armour.

Try harder next time.

Don't like crossover DLC its nearly as bad as crossover table-top games or....crossover fanfiction i wasn't going to get Dead Space 2 anyway and this hasn't changed my mind.

Then don't buy it. You seem to not like a lot of things perhaps you should get some happy pills.

Read the post again I said i'm not going to buy it.

Also i'm in fact a very happy person, i'm happy about DA2, i'm happy that its sunny today. I'm happy that I dislike **** games and marketing. I'm happy I won't have this stuff clogging up my inventory.

Ah sure, i will try harder next time - if thats what you really want. Im not sure what you mean - do you mean Bioware fans -  that like Mass Effect, but not Dragon Age? If so, then i think the blood dragon armor was pretty gross marketing too. Actually im a huge fan of all these games, Mass Effect, Dead Space and Dragon Age. Theyre all awesome - i just cant stand this marketing scam, on the principle. Whats to stop them from doing this kind of crap with the next Madden game or something? Its fine for people who like them all i guess - a sweet bonus, but  for those that dont it... it just hurts their fans is what im saying.

How, exactly, does it hurt their fans? It's not like EA have come up to you and kicked you in the sack with a steel toe-capped boot, is it?

Oh god, you miss out on a handful of non-essential, potentially lore-breaking items that make your character look like a douche?! Dear God, if you think you're honestly being 'hurt' by this then your priorities are so, so, so wrong. It's simple marketing - It tries to get BioWare fans to check out Visceral's game, and it gets Visceral's fans to check out BioWare's game - That's it. It's not kicking puppies or killing the games market, it's simple marketing.

Promotions like this are damn common. If you pre-ordered Poker Night at the Inventory or Super Meat Boy on Steam, you got items for Team Fortress 2 (I believe it also happened with other games such as Sam & Max). It's advertising, nothing more. It's not a scam, it's not made to ****** everyone off - It's there to encourage you to check out and buy other games.

So you consider a rather ugly armor "content", yes? And because of this missing armor your DA2 experience is spoiled?

On Topic: Thanks for the offer, but no thanks for now.

I'm so confused on how this DLC will work. Does the game have to be linked to our bioware account to get the DLC or do we get a code? If we get a code will it be a cross platform code?

You get a code in the DVD case. Its just like the code for the staff we got for joining the newsletter. You go to redeem it on this site and you get the item accross all platforms.

Why do people **** about this? Seriously?

You don't NEED this armor, hell it even looks completely out of place, it's just a gesture of goodwill if you buy this game from EA too. Start saying thanks instead of **** you. Seriously some people here.

Unfortunately raging fanboys in their hours of hissy fit can't grasp simple concepts like publishers wanting gamers to check out the other games they have on offer.

They should feel embarrassed for trying to expand their market?!!  Give me a break.  Believe it or not, they're not doing this to victimize the OCD's who can't stop themselves from spending $60 just to get a suit of armor.  They're doing this to pitch Dragon Age with every copy of DS2.  Even if a space horror player isn't interested in a fantasy ARPG, he/she may know someone else who might be.  They'll see the card, pass it along and say, "Hey, do you play this already?  It might be cool."

And for people who find themselves grinding teeth and sweating about blowing $60 vs missing a suit of DS2 DA2 armor - I have three words for you: cognitive-behavioral therapy.  That's just not healthy, and I'm being serious when I say that.

Me?  As someone with pre-orders on both titles, I'm happy for the unexpected perk.  So...thanks Bioware / EA!

Interestingly I've already pre-ordered limited edition of DS2, it's good to know this all works towards DA2.

But, well, I hope this unlock code is included in DS2 limited edition.... Is it?

Honestly, this is getting ridicules with all the DLC that is coming out a month prior to the release date.

I know someones going to say "you don't NEED it" But they just keep pouring the DLC on. There is a point where you can see that EA is simply money grubbing, and we have clearly passed that point.
