I'm still thinking that this armor is more appropiate for the engineer class in Mass Effect 3, but whatever, I'll still buy both games (I'm desperate for Dead Space 2) so I have no problem with this thing.

Dragon Age:Origins and Mass Effect 2 are completely unrelated and nobody comlained about the Blood Dragon Armor from what i can recall.

TBH I didn't really like that either. But it isn't something to completely flip out about. =]

It's a nice little self promotion for those that get both games, I get that. I still don't like it.

That was the nail in the coffin. I just needed one more reason to pre-order it and this gave it to me. Amazon should be thanking you for all the business I give them...

I'm downloading my free preorder copy of Ignition right now =)

I think the raeson the Blood Dragon Armour didn't make too many waves is because the games affected were both being made by BioWare. This time its a non Bio game and that's got quite a few people's backs up.

As I'm not getiting Dead Space 2 (as its a game that dosne't intrest me) I'm not too worried about missing out on a set of armour. I have to admit it is a rather tacky marketing ploy but it is EA so.....

Random?

Dead space  2, January 25th. Dragon Age 2, March 8th. Hmm they are close to eachother in release maybe thats why there are doing cross promotion. No that just can't be. :D

could it also be the fact that viseral games, the company that made dead space and dante's inferno, and bioware are owned by EA?

Well yeah, I get the EA relations and the fact that they are released in the same quarter. But I just figured that Dead Space 2 is a pretty random match in aesthetics and genera.

well they're both big games and i guess they're trying to get the word out about the other game with an incentive to get it, while its just a suit of armor and not something like a $20 cupon it's still something

What a rather amusing little cameo from one of my favorite games in another game I am looking forward to. But I rather have preferred a Dead Space type armor in Mass Effect 3 as a bonus from playing Dead Space 2.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that

What I would like to know is, if the key is bound to the system you bought DS2 on. A friend of mine bought it for his PS3 and doesn't need the key, as far as I know, but I pre-ordered DA2 on pc. Hopefully I can use that key.

I'm not interested in Dead Space, but my brother is getting it. Maybe I can still get this armour.

I imagine that DS2 fans (that haven't played Dragon Age) would more likely sell or give away the codes than purchase a new game just to get this armor in it.

They do have more things in common than people think of.

1. EA Publisher
2. Both AAA games comming out in same timeframe
3. Both mature and dark games
4. Both have the somewhat same target audience in mind
5. Both takes place outside the realm of the real world

Could probably come up with more but yeah.

This. Isaac´s armor works much better here. And we could also get the Plasma Cutter as bonus weapon.

nope as much as I would like that ermor, I'll pass because I have no interest in Dead Space 2. I hope the armor is also avaiable as DLC like the Edge and other weapons were for DA 1. If not, then EA has made a major mistake with this promotion

Interesting to say the least. I'm sure I know the answer, but when I buy Dead Space 2 next week on 360, will I be able to use the armor in Dragon Age 2 on PC? Is this being done through an EA online code? Or is it game save related? Not a huge loss since I have no intention of using the armor, only selling it for some sovereigns.

Yes according to IGN Xbox/PC will transfer if you get the PS3 version, you have to get PS3 Dragon Age 2.

A heavy armor for my rogue that requires me to purchase a game that I have no interest in? I appreciate the effort, but fail to see what's really appealing here. Considering the cost involved in acquiring the armor, you would think the specs would be more tempting.

I like Dead Space and i see EA wanting to promote DA2 as much as possible, but really this armor has to be the fugliest thing i have ever witnessed.

hopefully my friend buys it and sends me the code. I want all available stuff, but i wont be buying dead space 2 until the price drops... a lot.
