If they did that, it would completely defeat the whole point in this promotion. It's not going to happen.

Thats not happening the game is coming out in 2 days and its on the trailer that the code is inside the case for all versions.

It'd be nice if Dead Space was actually scary, because 1 sure as hell wasn't and neither was the demo for 2, the whole 'Oh snap, that side of the ship is broken, go fix' 20 minutes later. 'Oh ****, the bit that you were in 20 minutes ago just broke, run back for me will you?' That gets pretty boring toward the end of the game...

I highly doubt I'm guilty of anything by posting this. The coupon is unaltered and I got it from a perfectly legit copy of Dead Space 2 for the 360.
Oh, and before you ask: NO, I will not try to redeem my code before the game's official release. Sorry for anyone who wanted hard evidence on the big compatibility issue.

Hey guys I have a question. Can we use the code for different platforms; for example if i buy dead space 2 for ps3 but have dragon age 2 for xbox; would the code work on the xbox? Thanks in advance if you guys can answer this and no worries if you can't.

I don't know about the cross-platform mess, but either way I don't think I'll be getting the DA2 for a long time (if at all) so I'll probably just give my code to somebody here on the forums when DA2 comes out.

Meh. I don't really like the look of the armor (I think it looks out of place in a fantasy game), and chances are there'll be more powerful gear available in the game itself, just like what happened in DA:O. It's a nice bonus for people who like both DA2 AND DS2, but I'll pass.

EDIT: I admit, it did make me grin to see Isaac using the Starfang greatsword though. XD

True enough. But then that's quite all right by me!
The Blood Dragon armor really shined in mid-game, when the party was finally starting to hit it's stride. Yet it remained useful almost until the endgame, where it's great bonuses (well, on the chest plate anyway!) couldn't excuse it's somewhat limited defense anymore.

Last but not least, can you just imagine how things would turn out around here if the very best armor in the game turned out to be this cross-promotional sci-fi set?!?

Well if you don't want to pay $60, you could always go to ebay and get it from $10-$20 as they go for, dunno if that's too much for you.

I dunno, I'll probably buy Dead Space 2 since the first freaked the **** out of me, I like the puzzle like game play. But... WTF? Why is it rogue armor? It has dexterity not strength...... Change this immediately Bioware, why does a rogue use chain mail? It should be warrior armor!

Awesome I get some extra armor but I find it really funny that this armor is in the game...I don't hate the idea its just a bit odd and not very far to collectors that don't want to buy Dead Space 2...Which I also find odd

IGN, Kotaku and Joystiq all say its Xbox 360 to PC and vice versa. Ps3 Dead space 2 for Ps3 of Dragon age 2.

I see so many people saying this, but try to think about it - it doesn't make a single bit of sense.

They're not cashing in anything, you're not buying Dead Space 2 for that silly armor in Dragon Age 2, you're buying Dead Space 2 for... wait for it... wait for it... here it comes! DEAD SPACE 2 THE GAME.

You get this armor as a COMPLETELY free bonus.

If you really don't want Dead Space 2 which is likely going to be an awesome critically acclaimed game according to reviews so far, you can go on Ebay and get the armor code for less than 20 bux if you can't control your OCD.
