But... WTF? Why is it rogue armor? It has dexterity not strength...... Change this immediately Bioware, why does a rogue use chain mail? It should be warrior armor!

No thanks, I'd like some decent Rogue armor this time round ;)

since dead space 2 is not made by bioware I'm 100% sure that it was forced on them.

Think of every other code you have entered for ME2 or DAO, in my experience every code item has shown for every system in my registered game promotions.

Why not redeem it now? It will simply go into your registered game promos like the Hindsight belt or the staff and you can keep the card for insurance. It should simply download when you load up DA2 in the future.

Are you joking? They'd dance around in borat beach suits if they could do this for every game.

It's called promotion, and I bet my ass it didn't take more than a day or two tops for an artist to make this armor.
In return they get A LOT of attention.

It's not like this promotion comes with a ****ty game like Sonic free riders, it's Dead Space 2, it's critically acclaimed so far, AAA blockbuster game from a highly praised studio.

I see EA are cashing in, buy dead space 2 just to get armour for DA 2, will EA's greed never end, thing is Dead space was a top game so I'll be buying Dead space 2 anyway blast EA have got me again.!

Better than Activision, they'll be including online codes for MW5 with your copy of Tony Hawkes ride 12, otherwise its just the terrible campaign.

Wrong.

Nobody ties them down and forces them to agree to make DLC to co-promote with another big game release. It's a simple marketing concept  with two popular releases to help co-promote them. If it helps boost sales accross the board then all the better. Bioware gets to promote Dragon Age 2's future release in Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 2 might attact gamers who have yet to look into the games. Everyone gets more people checking the games out that would not have normally looked at them. All is good.

EDIT:

Hey guys I have a question. Can we use
the code for different platforms; for example if i buy dead space 2 for
ps3 but have dragon age 2 for xbox; would the code work on the xbox?
Thanks in advance if you guys can answer this and no worries if you
can't.

It seems I was ninja'd... If only I read, but I wanna know too!

So if I buy, say, the 360 version of Dead Space 2.... will the promo code I get for that be only for the 360 DA2 or will it be like the Blood Dragon armor?? A single code for DLC for all platforms?

IGN, Kotaku and Joystiq all say its Xbox 360 to PC and vice versa. Ps3 Dead space 2 for Ps3 of Dragon age 2.

Thank you! So... just to clarify... You said that the PC and 360 dlc gives you both system versions and the PS3 only gives you a PS3 version?

I posted this in another tread but never got an answer so I'll repost it here.

I was talking to my fiancee' about this, who is currently in Australia while I'm in NA, and she offered to buy Dead Space 2 for PS3 down there and give me the code and then simply re-sell DS2. My question is, would this work to use a code from the Australian version of DS2 on the NA version of DA-II?

Don't think that would work EA has a knack for region locking their things.

Fortunately a friend of mine is buying DS2 so I'll just use his code for the armor, If I don't like it maybe it will fetch me some decent coin.

Maybe they're from the UK. Some retailers here are selling it for £29.99 (PC) - though a fair few are selling it cheaper.
I paid £24.99, though that's before Quidco which will take around £1.75 off that price. <3 Quidco.

Frankly, I don't even want it. I'll roll a rogue for my second playthrough, but this armor set doesn't really look that good... I'd probably just sell it to the first merchant I see for some gold.

Some of my friends are excited about this game, so I am seriously considering buying it. I want to know if this offer is valid for all copies of the game including digital ones. If I buy the game on GamersGate or Steam, will it come with a DA2 item code? Has anyone any reliable information on this question?

while you wear this armor throughout the game you'll have visions of morrigan contacting you and she says things along the lines of "hawke, can you make us whole again? can you fix us?":bandit:

I don't know. Bioware or EA will have to answer that one. I already searched inside the whole box though.

It's been stated that the PS3 version of DS2 would come with an insert with detailed instructions on how to get it for the PS3 version of DA-II. So there must be an insert in there somewhere.

Link or doesn't exist because the official site, the official trailer says there is a code for all of them If you don't have proof, you are just trolling.
