And, well now it really is official: my 360 code only unlocked Ser Isaac's Armor for 360 and PC. No PS3 version has appeared next to Hindsight and Staff of Parthalan in "my registered game promotions".



I don't know, maybe they'll figure something out. In the meantime, good luck to all PS3 owners!

That really sounds like you could just rent the game, but that doesn't seem right to me, honestly. I would really like a Bioware dev to comment on this. My fiancee' and I really need to know how PS3 distribution will work, before we can possibly know how to proceed with this.

I have already preordered Dead Space 2 Collectors Edition for PS3 and Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition for PC, so... I'm going to miss the Dead Space 2 armor in Dragon Age 2.

Great, just great... I really hope they unlock the armor in all Dragon Age 2 versions, no matter what version of Dead Space 2 we bought.

I still don't understand why they didn't just put the codet in the PS3 box like the rest of the systems. It makes no sense. Then on top of that they don't give you any info about it at all.

Well, I don't want to ruin your day... but I can tell you my code from a 360 version of Dead Space 2 only unlocked the armor for Dragon Age II on 360 and PC.

Yeah, I don't know.  I'm sure there's more to it than that.  It's probably more on the DA2 end than the DS2 end.  It sounds like loading DS2 only opens a link to how to get the armor in DA2 when you load up that game.  I probably won't be able to use mine anyway, bc I'm buying DS2 on PS3 and DA2 on PC.  Although I hope everyone's wrong and you can use it across all platforms.

It's already confirmed the Xbox 360 code only unlocked for PC/Xbox 360, which by logic of elimation, means that the PS3 version functions by itself.

Whether it is true and I can just rent Dead Space 2, and follow the instructions later in DA-II, or if I must buy Dead Space 2 new like Xbox and PC owners do, could mean an AUD$100 decision here for my fiancee' and I. no thanks. played the demo for dead space and didn't like it. not going to buy dead space 2 for a code. not worth it.

According to the page, you have to buy the game to get access to the code because it comes with every copy of Dead Space 2. But if you rent it you can't get the code because any place renting it will take the codes out of the box before allowing the game to be rented.

Actually it's been confirmed that the PS3 version has NO code at all, and the PS3 distribution apparently works a hell of alot differently, in which you simply play Dead Space 2 logged on with your EA account, then when you play DA-II for PS3 later, it will give you ingame instructions on how to get the armor. Only Xbox and PC have a code.

ah well i play on an xbox not a ps3. my last sony system was a ps2. not many games on the ps3 i'd get. and most games are multi-platform these days. only game not going multi-platform that i'd consider getting a ps3 for is ff13 versus. other than that no real reason to get a ps3 for me anyways.

I'm directly opposite. I have a grudge against Microsoft and I hate all of the Xbox exclusives as it is. I love the PS3 exclusives.

Hopefully I'll get my copy (Xbox, which apparently can transfer to PC) tomorrow. Since I probably won't be getting DA2 for some time (maybe not until next year even) and I've got a code that will just sit there, I'll be putting it up on the forums here in a fun little "contest", so-to speak. I get to ****** my pants in DS2, and somebody feels badass in DA2. win/win.
