If they had said "included" with every copy, then fair enough, but they said inside, not included in the video.

That is a very flimbsy argument. Just because there is no physical "inside" doesn't mean that I don't deserve the armor any less than someone who buys from a brick and mortar store. There is essentially no difference.
Please explain to me how their advirtisment of this promotion would give anyone the notion that there wouldn't be codes provided with digital purchases.

And if they intended it to be specifically for physical copies, why not just say it instead of playing the word game?
I personally think that the digital stores may be a little later to the code party.
Unless, of course, someone can provide a link to an official statement refuting my belief, I will stand by my sentiment.
