I like this armour so much it makes me consider buying DS2 but I've never played the game and I'll probably won't in the next few years so it's higly unlikely.
I'd love to know someone who is going to pre-order it that could give me the code, though.

I think the armour looks pretty damn cool, it doesn't seem to have the horrible low res textures that the blood dragon armour did. I want it! But I plan on buying Dead Space 2 for PS3 and DA2 for PC, can I still get the armour on my PC install of DA2 then?

If both games are bought from Steam do we get this?

Hmm... I'm getting DS2 for the 360 and DA2 for the PC, I hope I can use the code still... I passed on the 360 version of DA2 because the first one worked so much better on the PC. Plus I preordered the special edition so I won't even be able to switch systems now anyways...

Well this is a nice little surprise. Given my love of DS and DA2, this is a nice little bonus that will, likely, have no relevance to the game aside from the fact it's a piece of armor to hog up my inventory. My only hope is it doesn't actually end up awesome at the beginning, only to get the nerf bat like the DA/ME2 armor did.
Pretty much vendor trash as it exists today, and was useful as just that until the Reapers Cudgel hit the field, damn thing sells for 300+ gold in DA:O, so you're never really hurting for cash as things stand.
Anyway, to people complaining, it's a nice little bonus and that's pretty much it. No reason to hate on DS2 because you feel obligated to buy it in order to enjoy optional content such as Isaac's armor. However, there is every reason to hate on DS2 if the Horror theme isn't to your tastes.
Hot damn can't wait for Tuesday (And DS2)!
As for the code and Steam, I don't see why not. Steam simply holds the game, you'll log into the EA account in order to partake of any of it's goodies. It worked for the ME2 armor, don't see why it wouldn't work for Steam.

Well if you buy DS2 through Steam you get a 75% discount off in DS 1. Nice way to play both games and get the armor for DA2

I snorted my milo cereal, continued gagging on my juice and still couldn't stop laughing.
Well spotted.

I don't think I will be getting Dead Space 2 since I never played the first one. But seeing as it's going for $6.80 on Steam right now I think I'll get it and see if Dead Space 2 interests me. I'll probably end up getting the code from a friend who is getting it but doesn't like Dragon Age.

I don't mind cross promotions if it was between bioware games!! I buy bioware games. Everything else i rent. Why? Because I trust bioware to bring out great games with great stories. I will not buy a game for $60 for an extra armor set. This is a huge turn off and feels like a big sell out. Very disapointed with whoever came up with this idea. I'm sure it was EA's idea.

I'll pass, as I've given up on FPS's.
Well maybe the upcoming Bioshock.

Dead Space isn't an FPS.
And EA, I'd consider buying DS2 if you actually make a proper PC version this time, and not an afterthought crappy port.

So, if I buy the PS3 version of Dead Space 2, will it unlock the armor for the PC version of DA2?

Im wary of this move. Its harmless seeming now as its only an amour. But If your a collector sort you have to buy non Bioware related titles to get all the content now. Its only a matter of time till we have to buy other EA titles to unlock whole companions or levels in games.
So what happens in ME3? Shep is about to defeat the reapers and boom the reapers come back from nowhere and destroy Earth. If only you had the super Reaper destroying gun that is only available in Fifa12 pre-order copies. Go order your copy today...Earth is counting on you!!

*shrug* Eh. Like with the Blood Dragon Armour, it just looks out of place to me. It just doesn't carry the same feel as the rest of the game. Besides, Dead Space isn't my thing anyway.
