But i will still buy Dragon Age 2 because i can get Ser Isaac's armro in Dragonage 2 for the PS3 version So i give Dead space 2 5/10 because the story is slow paced and not really fun when you have something jumpy out at you everytime i walk around a freaking corner

Hm. I stopped at the first response since they gave me a $20 gift certificate to the EA store. I like free armor, but I like free games more.crusadeonacid wrote...

Has no one seriously tried making a complaint yet to EA customer service? I mean really tried not a half-hearted attempt that stops at the reps first "I can't do that, sorry." (Because the first time it's said is always absolute BS). I don't really care enough to go out and waste the free rental from BB I have coming as I am seriously cash poor otherwise I'd be willing to do it but I wonder what's stopping those that do have the game. Unless I just missed it, then ignore me.
I just sent a second response to them. So far they explained absolutely nothing I didn't already know and half of which I mentined in my question. I'm going to keep responding until I get somewhere.
I think this is pretty bogus.

I still haven't heard back from them regarding the second response. I don't know, but I'm guessing I'm not getting one? That or the whole "respond within 24 hours" thing flew out the window.

Here's a tip EA, if you want to reduce pirating don't screw people over. By limiting the PS3 version to the PS3 your basically begging for them to pirate the DLC.
Whatever. Pirates will find any excuse to steal. Even if EA did give in to some of their "demands" I'm sure they'll just find some other lame excuse.
Just look at how heavily World of Goo was pirated even though it was DRM free and they even went so far as to let gamers set their own price for it.
Best thing EA can do is not listen to pirates at all.
Don't get me wrong I agree completely with what you said but it doesn't make sense to seperate them the way they did and it will simply add to the number of downloads of said pirate dlc. Eventually everything gets pirated but there are ways to reduce that and by limiting PS3 buyers of Dead Space 2 they are just increasing it, either way its small DLC also to be honest purely for appearence.
I totally agree, I was also led to believe that if I buy the PS3 version of Dead Space I could get the armour for the PC version.
As this is not the case I'm tempted to cancel my pre-order for PC DA2 signature. Childish I know but after the complete screw-up of awakening on the EU ps3 (should be p*** take) and the EU PS3 ultimate edition, I've just had enough with Bioware. Why should I be penalised? I paid for both games and never pirated.
So please Bioware do us all a favour and sort this out, redeem your good name.
Here, here, because if not, my PC version WILL be getting this whether they fix it or not.
I bought the CE DS2 & raped it to death but, I bought it on PS3 because that's where my save games were from DS1, that had no bearing whatsoever on my PS3 love of my CE Dragon Age 1 & the Dragon Age 2: Signature Edition PC I'm changing into like ALL THE OTHERS I'VE PAID FOR.
If this doesn't promote others making sure these are able to be found as downloadable ELSEWHERE FOR OUR PURCHASES AS PROMOTED (from retarded DLC restrictions), seriously what the hell else would?
What confuses me is that I bought Mass Effect 2 on PC but my DA:CE code for the armor worked off my PS3 game, why suddenly the ridiculous restrictions?
Edit: Also I have to say the 'Steam' nonsense might be related to the money lost from publishers on the lack of publishing, although I'm just guessing. Sad though, that in itself promotes not even wanting to deal with PAYING in the first place. It's actually self damaging for sales overall.

My copy of Dead Space 2 arrived today but the code sheet says "Offer only good on Xbox 360", I'll be buying DA2 on the PC so I assume I can't use it?
No idea why it says that but both PC and Xbox are unlocked if you use either a PC or Xbox 360 redemption code.
As shown in my registered game promotions:

But the jumping out parts are the fun parts of Dead Space 2! but the game isn't for everyone...I found it fun when things jump out at me and I blow off its head and stomp them for ammo and just continue walking, Horror has died on me for a long time lola12boom wrote...
Well i bought Dead space 2 for the armor of course and i have to admit the story i got so far on is Chapter 5 and I'm really into it because it is really slow paced and i really don't mett up with any allies or friends in the game, but i uh will keep playing but i do like the Multiplayer it's pretty fun killing necromorphs lol I don't win much in the multiplayer jsut played it today but played the game yesterday
But i will still buy Dragon Age 2 because i can get Ser Isaac's armro in Dragonage 2 for the PS3 version So i give Dead space 2 5/10 because the story is slow paced and not really fun when you have something jumpy out at you everytime i walk around a freaking corner

I bought the godamn Steam version cause I wanted the code for DAII and now it turns out it doesn't have it. This situation is even more grating because the news section of both Dead Space 1 and 2 on my Steam library talk about how I should be getting the stupid code if I buy Dead Space 2.
This is complete bull****.

I got the digital steam copy of DS2 and didn't get any code
I'm going try to write to EA support.
Also: some time ago, when DA2 was announced, people who had signed up for the newsletter of DA2 got a code for a staff I believe. BW - WHERE IS MY STAFF?!? After all this time I still don't get the newsletter and still don't have the code. Yes, I am registered, was from day 1 DA2 was announced! I'm a pretty patient guy, but come on!

Really, guys, they are trying to get Dead Space players incentive to go play Dragon Age. Don't flatter yourself into thinking that the market for gamers who buy $60 games for a single piece of DLC equipment is really at the forefront of the marketing department.
On the other hand, if a DS2 player opens the box and sees that they can get the armor for a favorite character, maybe they have a better chance of playing Dragon Age 2.
That said, I have my code, but couldn't care less. I may give it away. Dead Space 2 was worth the price of entry alone. and a lot of DA forum posters seem to write that off. IT IS ARMOR, don't go buying a game just to take the code. That is idiotic.

That's correct, but it works the other way too. I didn't know about the Dead Space series but because of this promotion I asked my friends about it and got their recommendations, and as a result I bought it. I'm glad I did because it is a good game, but I wouldn't have bought it just for armor if my friends hadn't liked the first one.

While pirates do both.
What I find mostl ulz worthy is that they promise things and then they fail to deliver. If it was a lottery or a dlc then sure exlude peopel as you like. But since there no asterix denoting ' folloing offer does not apply to steam purchases' then yea sure but man oh man...
