Hey guys. I bought the digital version of Dead Space 2 on Steam, in order to get the Isaac armor, but I don't know how to redeem it. I tryed typing it into the "Redeem Promo Code" but it didn't work. So is there anyone who can help me to get it to work?

It's has been mentioned many, many times before, but you don't get a code if bought any digital version of the game.

I got mine, I just feel glad I was planning on getting Dead Space 2 already before this announcement. It's a true sequel, far better than the original.

Well i asked on gamefaqs for a code for the armor, stating i was willing to pay a reasonable price and I got it for free. There are plenty of people out there who bought DS2 that have no intention of playing DA2. If you ask around enough, you can probably get a code. Im pretty happy that the only thing im missing out on is the EA store exclusive item.

Didn't think about it until now. I hope that Deadspace armor for DA2 has a helmet toggle. xp

The armor isn't a single item.....it's a set of items similar to DAO's Blood Dragon armor....don't want the helmet, take it off.....only like the boots then put those on and leave the rest off.

Really? What credibility?

They included a free item in with a very popular (and amazingly well made, IMO) game.  Dragon Age fans should be happy that they are reaching out to get new fans. This isn't some masterminded plot to get you to buy DA2, but actually is the other way around. I hate to break it, but I would not be surprised if there are more copies of Dead Space 2 sold than Dragon Age can even come close to.

The one thing that has been nagging me. IF YOU GUYS ARE NOT DEAD SPACE FANS, WHY THE HELL DO YOU CARE ABOUT THE DEAD SPACE ARMOR? If you are fans, then why haven't you bought Dead Space? 

That said, they really should have put a disclaimer about the STEAM thing, but really, you should have at least checked if the armor was that important.

EA support basically said they don't care go bother steam, which I am atm. This blows tbh

It would have been great if they just would have used the same system like they had with Dead Space: Ignition, where as you were given a generic code to register and then from there got to select your system of choice for the bonus. I'm in the same boat as others where I enjoy Dead Space on PS3, but Dragon Age more on the 360. Since I've already pre-ordered it for the 360, I get to miss out on that cool armor cross-over, unless of course I want to get gouged by ebay.

I did manage to get a code by doing that in the 360  and pc forums, but I also got modded. If anyone triess this, be careful.

Yeah, I wish people actually did reseach before posting stuff. With that notion, I am glad Urazz beat me in first come first serve, because he bought a digital copy and was screwed by EA. But have those people talked to a support person over EA chat? Depending on the person, they can be SUPER helpful, at least in my experience.
