The official word from Steam at least was a quite blatant "Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
This promotion is not available for the Steam version." >.< Which... completely contradicts what EA said, in that you had to contact them directly, according to some others on the forums. Really it's just poor marketing on EA's part. All they'd have had to do is add a noticable line on their splash page stating that it was for physical copies of the game only. *sighs*

Dragon Age 2 has helmet toggle, so you can still wear the helmet & get the effects, but you never have to actully look at the ugly thingArkynomicon wrote...

fortunately only like 9 euros, but it was bidding, not classical "buy it now" like i usually go for, if you want to buy It straightforward, prices are more like 20-30 euros, man i was so lucky, i dont know much about how the armor goes, i just checked it redeemed properly

I won't be playing a Rogue, can't equip it to Isabela...hmmm. I don't think I'll want to buff dexterity just so my warrior or mage can wear this thing. I'll redeem my code just to have it, but I don't honestly think it'll be used.

Mah, I'm not so irritated anymore with EA. Yeah, Digital versions don't get the Armor, sad times.
EA just got assraped with Crysis 2 being leaked. While I don't condone piracy, I couldn't help but grin when I read about it.

well of course aside from the time when you're stomping things to death- he says it again there
peeps- seriously, if you have ANY interest at all in playing this game- DO IT! You will NOT be disappointed!!!
I could not finish the first Dead Space (grrr- asteroid mini game) but this one is a breeze compared to it, having no REAL difficult spots at all other than if you can point and aim or navigate correctly.
It is bloody and there are body parts everywhere but of course they're all animated and you won't feel like you're watching SAW or anything.
Highly recommended if you like scary/games that make you jump- it's seriously a HUGE thrill ride!! and the fact that Isaac talks this time around (just like our new DA II character!!!
) is just icing on an already delicious cake.that's my 40 cents
PS... the collector's edition of the game also offer additional goodies for the game as well and is worth it in my opinion- a good investment. I see they've gone back up to $79 on amazon but they were just $60 not too long ago. recommend keeping an eye on the price so for those interested, you can get the CE for the same price as new.
