Mah, I'm not so irritated anymore with EA. Yeah, Digital versions don't get the Armor, sad times.

EA just got assraped with Crysis 2 being leaked. While I don't condone piracy, I couldn't help but grin when I read about it.

lol. how did that get pass the forum's auto censor?

That's a curious question. I like to think Chris Priestly uses it so often the censor gave up in disgust.

I finished Dead Space 2 yesterday...and found it quite nice.

I normally don't play games like these, but thanks to the recent Steam sale, which lead to FEAR 2, and my bro buying a copy of Dead Space 2... *shrugs*

Compared to FEAR 2, I found the game more...'satisfying' (particularly the ending). I missed FEAR 2's P90-ish SMG, tho'.

That said, I kinda wish the DA2 version of the armor/suit were closer to the DS2 armor (particularly the security suit or the vintage suit...heh, I think the vintage suit wouldn't look too out of place in DA2. Hehe, the vintage suit actually looks a bit out of place in DS2 :D ). Maybe a choice of 'tints'?

Oh, and maybe EA can throw in a plasma cutter, too? :P

A plasma cutter plus choice of the various DS2 suits would be a DLC I wouldn't mind paying a little for. (I'd pay more if it comes w/ sidequests...especially if it's one w/ the 'pirate chick' from DS2 :D )

According to my unlocked content page, by renting Dead Space 2, i've unlocked Ser Isaac's armor in DA2 for PS3. Dead Space was an excellent game. I bet most of you wouldn't buy it because you're too scared of survival horrors or something. Trust me, i'm a person who won't watch a movie like Black Swan because it's jumpy. But I played DS2 beginning to end and loved it.

Highly unlikely that it's going to be released as purchasable DLC imo.

Then again... you can never tell with EA.

That's great to hear for ps3 owners.  I love both the Dead Space games, and I have to agree with you.  The game isn't to scary and really plays more like a tactical shooter with horror elements.

Back to topic,  I really wish the DA2 armor was more inspired by the Zealot suit.  Something inspired by that would look great especially if they left the ornate influences and styling.

Dead Space 2 isn't scary/jumpy in the slightest...

Black Swan is not jumpy at all. Disturbing? Yes. Jumpy? Abosolutely not.

It's not even all that disturbing because it was so predictable that you could tell what was going to happen, way before it happened on screen. I was watching the movie in the theatre with a friend, and I kept telling him what I thought was going to happen, sure enough it did, eventually he told me to stfu lol.

Such movies are soooooo boring. Especially, because I have the tendency to correctly predict what happens too, ... though I do have the manners not to "spoil" others ... most of the time.

I have the same problem but even though you could see the ending of "black swan" coming a mile away it's good because of "journey" not the "destination". The Director really knows his crazy well, but I prefer "requiem for a dream" better.

Anyway, in an effort to get back to topic here's a photo of the zealot suit from Dead Space 2. Posted Image

I really think an armor based on this would look awesome in DA2

I bought Dead Space 2 today hoping for code but there is no code. Does this mean it was only for people who pre-ordered it? Or do I need to go back to the store and ask for it specifically? Gosh I hope it wasn't for pre-orders only I didn't know that.

Did you bought the game on PS3 ? If you did, the items will shown itself in your account or something when you play the game. I don't know all the details but that's one explanation I can come up with for not having the code.

And there was a forumer which did not get a code because the game boxes in his region had to be opened and the content replaced with some other language manuals I don't know and it seemed like the original manuals and such were not replaced.

If you have the ps3 version, here is the process to get the armor:

- From the Dead Space 2 main menu go to the multiplayer menu and login to your EA account.

- The armor should show up in game promotions under the profile submenu here.

- When you get dragon age 2, login to your ea account and all of your game promotions should be unlocked.

Meh, it's a free bonus if you buy the game, hardly worth complaining about. It looks nice, and I have it, but i'm unlikely to use it in the game because I find the bonus stuff all-together tends to make the early-mid game too easy. However, in DA2 it seems like it had to be bought off a vendor anyway; so that may help with that.

Actually when you start DS2 on PS3 it automatically connects to EA servers the moment you press start to open main menu. As soon as it does that your armor for DA2 is unlocked. No need to check multiplayer (though you should - It's reallyy fun, jumping on people as necromorph, screaming "Imma nom ur face!" - and much more fair and balanced that Left 4 Dead 2).

You know what I would like in DA2? A pet necromorph. Call him a harvester, they all look the same.

just like the blood dragon armor. DS@ Armor is going to be online download. I hope it wouldnt make centces if it was limited. Ea/bioware out there to make money and they would make more for sure if the add it as a download choice. plus I love dead space I wouldn't mine having an exculse armor I would wear most of the game. gives me a good reason to still purchase my signature edition. Im still unhappy they wont re-update ultimate edition I still haven't gotten return to Ostgar here in Australia. what a waste of money.

Well if its confirmed that steam and other digi copies of the game dotn get the code, I am personally not surprised but also not saddned by the fact. EA pulled the same stunt for Ds2 on PC and some bedroom coder got us all the suits plus the DLC. So I am pretty shure the community is gonan fix this. Keep your chin up guys just wait for some to seed it somewhere.

For some odd reason, I wasn't logging on to Ea servers until I manually connected the first time.  DS2 multiplayer is fun, but whole disjointed human side makes kind of annoys me.

Thanks to you, DA2 has just been reuined with the knowledge I will most likely never get a necromorph pet/summon.

Game Informer was wrong then. I was reading the new issue after I bought Dead Space 2 but before I started playing the game. The magazine shows a picture of the armor, describing it as a "pre-order bonus". Glad they were mistaken - I was in a panic for a while there, especially when there was no code in the box.
