Anyway, I think you can download them in DA2 once you logged in there on your EA Account (which, if you don't know already, is the same account you use here on the forums).

Haven't really looked carefully but I'm getting ps3 dead space 2 and dragon age 2 on pc, can I use the ps3 code to get the armour on the pc game?

I assume you mean Windows is made by Microsoft rather than the PC. Regardless that places zero technical limitations on making the unlock work across multiple platforms, so I'd agree with it being idiotic.

The items are unlocked via our Bioware/EA account which has nothing to do with any of the platform vendors, so why should it make a difference?

Please let the code for Ser Isaac armor be used for other platforms... my games promotions list is constantly taunting me having the armor for only the PS3 (bought dead space 2 for PS3) and I'm planning on getting this game for the PC...

This has got to be one of the most disappointing Dragon Age 2 Promotions ever. Really Disappointing. I thought this was some kind of april fools! I won't be buying a complete other game that isn't even RELATED to Bioware in any way at all and neither is this game related to Dragon Age, You my good sers have crossed the line of Cross Promotional Marketing. I. Am. Very. Dissappointed.

It is so stupid that the PS3 version of DS2 doesn't also unlock the armor for the PC version of DA2. Got PS3 version of DS2 because it seemed the best version (over 360 and PC) and preordered DA2 on PC because the PC version of DAO was way better than the console versions....



I just checked, I have the armor that I won't be able to use.

I understand that Dead Space was made by Visceral. and Dragon Age by Bioware. But if EA decides to have a promotion which would conceivably help sell both games across several platforms they should have seen the very likely possibility of PS3 owners purchasing Dragon Age 2 on PC, as they did with the 360/PC cross. Making matters worse is the fact that EA touted Dead Space 2 on PS3 to be "the very best version," a fact bolstered by the addition of a bonus game.



I agree with ColdBrew that anyone with a good PC would want Dragon Age 2 on their rig considering Dragon Age's PC preferred pedigree and, at least for me, the tantalizing prospect of a Direct X11 game on my new video card.



I am hoping EA does the right thing and corrects this issue.

Quick question since I seem not being able to find the answer anywhere else and hope some of you got it

I bought Dead Space 2 for the PC, but I do not have any piece of paper with a code on for the Dragon Age 2 Armor from Dead Space...shouldn't there have been that? (I have contacted EA, but would just like to get an answer fast)

Check the promotions tab in your profile to make sure Isaac Armor is in there. Also, make sure you have a Bioware/EA account and have logged into said account in Dead Space 2. I cannot speak for the PC version of the game, but that is how I recieved my code after having nothing on paper included in my retail box. I hope this helps.

Thx for the quick answer...The account I logged into in Dead Space 2 is the same one as I used for Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2. Still if I look at my registered game promotions in here there is nothing about Dragon Age 2...only DA and ME2 :/

From what I understand the getting it via logging into the game is the method used for the PS3 version only. The PC and Xbox versions came with a code to redeem. However from what I've heard no codes have been provided with digital download versions of the game.

I think there was a mention a little furtherback in the thread that a customer rep had said that digital versions would get a code some time in March, but I haven't heard anything from an official source.

So pretty much gotta wait another 2 weeks to find out if this is true. Otherwise it's major complaint flooding for EA because no where do they state that digital download purchases of Dead Space 2 will be excluded from getting the armor.

To be perfectly honest, that is rubbish.

I bought Deadspace 2 and should have the same rights to the DLC on my PC version of DA2 as the Xbox owners.

Well I bought my Dead Space 2 in a store and got no code anywhere except for the code to register Dead Space 2 (in which I got a special weapon or something) :S

i am pretty sure that it is rubbish. when i saw there is no code in my retail pc version, i contacted ea support and they told me the exact same thing.

however, bioware states that pc and xbox players will recieve a code for unlocking the armor.

ea suport is full of ****.

Got DS1+2 through the post today (double pack from Game.co.uk for a mere £20!) and just literally have redeemed my Ser Isaac armour. Looking forward to seeing what that looks like on my FemHawke.

Just put in my code (I got the Xbox version) and in my games promotions it is listed for Xbox and PC.

Its not that I even preordered DS2 for the PS3, I ordered it for the PC, due to a GS screwup I ended up with it on the PS3, so I got screwed twice with one go.
