I know how you feel, I can't wait for DA2 and at the same time I'm going to be realy upset looking at the code for Isaacs armor for PC while I'm playing on PS3. Is there some place to file a formal complaint.

You just been taught about exclusive DLC based on Platform. I didn't know what was gonna happen so  I went with the obvious choice retail DS2 for PC so I can play DA2 on PC with the armor.

And this is one of the few reasons why the PS3 is worse than the 360.

So I broke down and bought Dead Space 2. Turns out it was a pretty cool game. Freaky as hell too. So in the end, for me, it was worth it.

Me too. I can see the PS3 version of the armor sitting in my game promotions tab, TAUNTING ME...and I can't use it because I'll be playing Dragon Age 2 on PC. This is such BS. <_<

Can I get the code for the PC version of Dead Space 2 from the Steam version or does it have to be a disc copy? Cuz I would totally pick up the PC version of Dead Space 2 in the next Steam Holiday Sale if that works.

Steam and EA online store do not offer the code which made a lot of people mad :S
you have to buy the game retail to get teh code in the box.

It was mentioned earlier in this very thread that for EA Store, you will get the code the same way as with the PS3 - once you register DA2 to the same EA account. No mention of Steam, though.

please someone tell me if i understand how to get the armor correctly.

all i need to do is play deadspace 2 while logged in. no need to buy or type in a code that comes on a scrap of paper included with the game. so i could just rent it or borrow it from a friend and unlock the armor?

I think you have to buy deadspace 2, and enter the promotion code which is included with the game to unlock the armor.

DS2 armor sounds nice , but, I just can’t find a good enough reason to buy DS2 to get the armor and not play the game as that type of game just does not give me a turn on. So hopefully u’ll come out with a way to get the armor other than buying DS2. Wanted49 3/3/11

sweet, guess im going to rent deadspace 2 before the end of the year. i thought it looked like a good game i just didn't want to buy it at new game price because i had a feeling i'd get bored of it after one playthrough.

Yeah the steam/ea downloaders were pissed they thought they would also get the code/item, which being ea could have just done it the same way as the PS3 version login with your ea account in game and it gives you the item.

Yup, I mean I bought the game DIRECTLY FROM EA, You would think they have some way to check it
I mean they did it with the ME armor, why cant they do it with this.
