Thanks! I was worried that if his Xbox Live account and my BioWare account had different email addresses there would be an issue.Miaoyin wrote...
@Homer_S From the information I've read, the xbox version of DS2 has the DA2 code printed on a leaflet so you would register it to your Bioware account as any other code that came with DA2. Haven't received my DS2 yet, so I can't confirm. Supposedly, only the PS3 version automatically adds the item to the account that is signed in when DS2 is started.

Guys my question is. Can I purchase Dead Space 2 for pc, to unlock armor in Dragon Age for PC?
Dont see any reason why not, in my Box i got a flyer for dead space 2 saying "With your purchase of dead space 2 you'll receive an unlock for and excusive set of Isaac Clarke-inspired armour for use in Dragon Age 2"...small print
*CODE EXPIRES MARCH 31,2012. Good only for new purchaces of Dead Space 2.*
remember when you install DS2 use the same email address for your DA2 account, also if it doesnt unlock (like it didnt for me) use the EA live support and talk to someone. They'll sort you out np:)

1) Does it matter which platform we get Dead Space 2? I'm considering getting it, but deciding between PC or PS3. And will the code work regardless of platform? (My guess is yes)
2) Is the armor class specific or is it for one class only?

it is not class specific but requires high dexterity and cunning which makes it rogue only

Armor Code from DS2 Pc = PC and Xbox 360
Armor Code from DS2 PS3 = PS3
Armor Code from DS2 Xbox 360 = PC and Xbox 360

A very tactical way to earn an extra buck from the consumer. I played the demo but it wasn't to my taste, but being a bit of a completionist it's a bit annoying when I see that Ser Isaac of Clarke armour faded in my extras menu. Is there a card provided with Dead Space 2 or do you just have to log into an account while playing to game to utilize the armour in DA2? If it's the latter then I'll rent it.
PC Retail come with a code you enter on Social.Bioware Redeem Page
PS3 just require you to login into the game to get the armor (Atless my Version did)
Xbox 360??? Guess samme as PC

Thank god my boyfriend gave me the code from his copy of dead space 2. I love that Rogue armor.
Anyway, I'm quite satisfied with the armor from DS2. It's pretty similar to default Hawke armor.

You do not even need to own a PS3... just find someone who has a PS3 and boot a copy of Dead Space 2 on that console. One successful login and you are done. Also, here's some tentative proof:
http://dragonage.wik...r_Isaac's_Armor
QUOTE: "Acquisition is simpler due to there being no code to redeem, therefore it's possible to rent or borrow this title before March 31, 2011 and it will still unlock the armor."
If I recall correctly, here's what you need to do...
Login to PSN. Yes, this will force you to update if you do not already have 3.60 of the PS3 system software.
Start Dead Space 2. You will be required to install the Dead Space 2 ver 1.01.
Select Online Pass from the main menu. I believe you will be asked to enter your EA account. You'll be presented with an option to enter your EA account, then once successful, pushed to a page where you can redeem a code or purchase the pass. No need to go further.
You're done. Login to your Bioware account on your computer and you should see the Ser Issac armor in your list of registered game content for ALL THREE platforms of DA2. Next login to the DA2 game with the same EA id... load a savegame... it should now pop a new quest with a note telling you to go home. Ser Issac armor will be in the chest. I know this info is likely elsewhere in the thread but it should be repeated.
YOU
MUST DO THIS
BEFORE
MARCH 31st
OR YOU
FORFEIT YOUR CHANCE
TO GET IT FOR
FREE.
