I could maybe help someone who wants it, maybe.
From what I understand merely logging in with a Bioware Account on ps3 and getting on Dead Space 2, unlocks it

But I'm not sure how to access the login info. XD

I'm useless.

Well, I guess I have nothing to lose at this point so I'm gonna ask too.

If, by any chance you have a spare code for PC, give me a message.

My retail version of Dead Space 2 didn't have one included. Even though it should have. But that and the delays it had in my country(on retail at least) are another story. Not even Varric would want to remember this one.

If you login with your EA account through the Dead Space 2 game for PS3, then the Ser Issac armor is FREE.

You do not even need to own a PS3... just find someone who has a PS3 and boot a copy of Dead Space 2 on that console. One successful login and you are done. Also, here's some tentative proof:

If I recall correctly, here's what you need to do...

Login to PSN. Yes, this will force you to update if you do not already have 3.60 of the PS3 system software.

Start Dead Space 2. You will be required to install the Dead Space 2 ver 1.01.

Select Online Pass from the main menu. I believe you will be asked to enter your EA account. You'll be presented with an option to enter your EA account, then once successful, pushed to a page where you can redeem a code or purchase the pass. No need to go further.

You're done.  Login to your Bioware account on your computer and you should see the Ser Issac armor in your list of registered game content for ALL THREE platforms of DA2.  Next login to the DA2 game with the same EA id... load a savegame... it should now pop a new quest with a note telling you to go home.  Ser Issac armor will be in the chest. I know this info is likely elsewhere in the thread but it should be repeated.

As I understand it, it only unlocks it for the PS3, if you unlock it on the PS3.

At least I got all unlockables before it was too late

Fun fact: The armor seems to be already ingame. Use the Vaddin' mod to get it.

according to dragon age wiki yes, but according to the link in the first post the offer expires 31 march 2012, so which is it? is it already finished or can you still get it?

The armour isn't all it's cracked up to be... It's alright at the beginning. But I've found alot better

I'd like to know this too. Might pick Dead Space 2 up if you can still get the armour (need something to play while waiting on the patch).

Probably 2011, and the 2012 thing is a typo.
Why would they give you an entire year to rent/purchase a game? And for anyone besides PS3 there probably won't be new Dead Space 2s with codes inside in about a few months.

well what about people who want ds2(and happen to have da2 so wouldn't like the extra content) but have held off due to having too many other games to play first etc so waiting awhile to get it?

What I find amusing is the fb game recognizes the fact that I have DS2 and I can get the armor there. Odd that.

If I bought and played DS2 for PS3 back when it was released but did not linked my EA/Bioware account to my PSN (play all of my BW games on PC) account can I still get it?

hmm looks like the dragon age wiki has updated it to march 2012 now, I'm looking at buying the limited edition on ps3 and it's currently on sale at game/gamestation in the uk.

for all the people who say they wouldnt play Dead Space 2 i highly suggest it. my Girlfriend bought it at the same time i bought Dragon age 2 not for the promos but shes was a fan of DS2 and i was a fan of DA2 and after i beat DA2 a few times i played other games and got bored with them all and decided to play DS2 and wow i had not played the first one but OMG was it freaking awsome to play at 3 am in a very dark room alone hahaha LOVED IT!

Aye, Dead Space 1&2 are both good games, but some people just like to bash other genres without even trying them. Put it this way, DS2 is better than DA2, that's for sure.

thats debatable story wise no gameplay wise maybe overall feeling the game gives you yes DS2 gives you a more urgent need to survive feeling. than DA2 give you the adventure feeling

well got dead space 2 limited edition for the ps3 today for £24.99 from game in town(sold out online), the armor has shown up in my registered game content' for all formats not just the ps3. not played dead space, is it better to play the first one before the second?

i played dragon age before dead space but i dont think it matters i just played dead space let it do its online thing where it tries to load up online trophies and what not. and then put in dragon age and when you load your character even one thats already started youll get a quest update that you go back to your house and its there .. you have to have a 20 cunning and dex to where it though
