AWWW MAN! Just got back from work. Hey Bioware!......We got the game in today only to find out that there are no codes with the PS3 version. What's the deal with that?

It probably automatically links to your EA account. Notice in the fine text that the PS3 version never mentions code. It only mentions "offer". The 360 and PC versions mention "offer and code".

Which is why I'm personally still waiting for confirmation that DS2 on PS3 will allow me to get the armor for DA2 PC.

Buying drinks in bars will now be BioWares new catch scene in all of their games.

I am positive that we can since on the website it lists armor properties seperately for the helm, boots etc.

do you need sarcasm tags added on?

Would have been helpful, yes. :pinched:

That kinda sucks though. I kinda am thinking PS3 people don't get it  at all because they get Extraction and the 360 version doesn't. If it came down to it I would not switch my reserve to the 360 because I would rather have two Dead Space games for the price of one instead of 1 deadspace game and an outfit.

I don't know if its funny or sad. It actually doesn't look like the RIG. IDK if I will get Dead Space 2, I haven't finished the first one yet. Too scary for me alone to play it :(

No. The PS3 people DEFINITELY get it. Whether they can get it for their platform of choice for DAII is another story.

And I chuckled at the fine print's age restriction: "must be 13+". The two games involved in the promotion are both rated M.

Dead Space 2 is gonna be awesome. It has already gotten great reviews. The Collectors Ed. Box is mad small to have so much stuff in it though. Like real small.

Was definitely planning on picking up DS2 when it came out since I purchased the first on PS3. Did not care too much for the genre but this game was a good play. Got Origins on PC and intend to do the same for DA2 but I'm kind of upset that I would have to purchase the XBOX360 version to be able to get the DLC on PC. Has this been confirmed 100%? Have trolled through about have of the comments and not much was seen from a admin/rep of Bioware regarding the bonus DLC incentive for DS2.

You people are beyond stupid. Cross promotions between games? Big deal. If there was this thing in the game that said "HEY BUY DEAD SPACE 2 FOR MORE ARMOR!" Then I could see a problem with it. Just more free stuff to me. You want to gripe about free stuff? Well... okay? You fanatics are really quite insane. Maybe that's redundant.

That being said, can anyone at Bioware confirm it'll come with a copy of Dead Space 2: CE? I'm sure it will, but just curious. Dead Space was one of the best games to come out in 2009, and this one looks to be even better judging from the demo. I'm really looking forward to it.

Also Bioware: Can it be confirmed if I get DS2 for 360 I can use the code for PC version of Dragon Age 2? I hope they are a universal kind of code, and not specific to the system.

So now rogues will be jumping 15 feet in the air, doing backflips and summersaults all while wearing heavy armor huh?

I ordered the CE of Dead Space 2 about a month ago- will I still get the code as well?

I'm considering ordering another copy from Gamestop for the exclusive Rivet Gun goody so might that count for this ARMOR or would I get two codes FOR THE ARMOR for buying two copies?

Replies would be appreciated. :)

as i said before you'll still get your rivet gun even if you preorder before it was announced

I'm not referring to the rivet gun, obviously I'll get that if I order from GS as it's promised right on the page. What I'm referring to is what this whole thread is about- Isaac's armor. Any other information that doesn't come from EA, Bioware or Visceral, I will treat as opinion, theory or hearsay because no one knows for sure unless you work at these three places.

I guess to be more specific, only replies from one of these three companies would be greatly appreciated.

It says right on the trailer the code is inside the game. THe code for the rivet gun from gamestop will be given to you from the people working for GS totally seperate. SO you would get two codes, One inside and one outside of the case.

Ahhhhh, I just found this video. That's strange that they announced it so late and the code is in the box already. What if something happened to the armor in production and it fell through? :o:o

anyhow, I'm very excited for this awesome free armor and thank you, EA, Bioware and Visceral and anyone else involved with it!!!  :D:D:D:D

Go DA 2 and DS 2!  wooohooo! <3:D

EA is taking advantage of those poor fans who hate Dead Space, but don't have the sense to avoid paying $60 for a virtual suit of armor.  that's EVIL.

Thats not evil taking advantage of people that throw their money in the wind for a game that they won't play for some armor in another game. Those people deserve it.

I'm glad you don't need a special code. I suppose I'll be able to rent Dead Space 2 to unlock the armor on my account!

I'm giving it to Aveline to hide her ugly face
