I'm glad you don't need a special code. I suppose I'll be able to rent Dead Space 2 to unlock the armor on my account!

I'm giving it to Aveline to hide her ugly face

Wrong you do need a special code its in the DVD case. Blockbuster or whomeever you rent from won't have that. Btw companion's clothes are preset.

This is probably the most stupid thing I've ever seen Bioware do... and I am a fanboy.

Will I lose any set bonus if I were to not wear the helmet? It looks terribly out of place.

Whats so stupid about it exactly?

Its just bonus armor for god's sake. Not like you're getting Isaac as a party member or some ****.

Or do you for some reason feel the need to obtain every single bonus item available, which aren't necessarily any good, even if it means purchasing a game you don't like.

Some people do treate the bonuses and codes like pokemon where they have to catch them all.

I actually seriously enjoyed the first Dead Space. I was planning to wait for Dead Space 2 to drop a bit to $40 before I picked it up, but this might be incentive enough for me to grab it ASAP...

Sad or good?

We are here and use pcs and stuff BECAUSE humans always complain. Complaints are the engine of advancement and there is always someone who complains because someone else is complaining...

So stop complaining that others are complaining :D

Thank god the people a few thousand years ago complained:

"Hmmm are you okay with sleeping in the open, without something to lay in or something that keeps you from getting wet or cold?"

"Yeah totally... I'm satisfied with the rats chewing on my leg and the ants eating my foot because complaining would be bad!"

"By the way.... there is something new called "fire".... well I called it that way, but it cooks food, that seems to taste more delicious and all this parasites we keep on getting, you know: the things that eat our intestines, we don't get them if we eat grilled meat."

"Na don't worry, I'm satisfied! Just gonna cough up some blood and poop some... there are still openings in my body where no blood comes out, so why complain?"

You get the idea ; )

How dare EA do these evil promotion to all of us DA fans! (In fact, some of their promotions are even EVIL.)

EA is taking advantage of those poor fans who hate Dead Space, but don't have the sense to avoid paying $60 for a virtual suit of armor.  that's EVIL.

Thats not evil taking advantage of people that throw their money in the wind for a game that they won't play for some armor in another game. Those people deserve it.

Exactly. Besides, its not like you HAVE to get the armor. Its more like an Easter Egg for people who buy both games. I don't like Dead Space, and the armor looks cool, but I am not spending any of my money on a game I don't like just for that. The people who complain about it are just people who want the armor but don't want to buy Dead Space, so they blame EA and whatnot in the hopes they might get it some way or another. Personally, I think its kind of a cool marketing technique, and some very nice fan-service (which you don't see much these days), so thanks for that. If I were a Dead Space fan, I would be over-the-moon ecstatic, but I am not a fan, so it doesn't really matter to me. And to be completely serious, I only got the Blood Dragon Armor because I liked and bought both Dragon Age and Mass Effect, which I though was really cool, but I barely ever used it. Wades Superior Dragonbone Plate was way better, followed by the Juggernaut suit and Cailans gear.

If you want the armour so badly and don’t want DS2. Just buy the game, take the code, and then sell DS2 on ebay.

Sorry - unintended space horror comedy isn't my cup of tea
- would mean mere dead, unused space on the hdd in
exchange for a set of gear...

Edit:
The registration account and age rating would make it quite
hard to dispose off ds2 on ebay...

I am currently planning to pick up Dead Space 2 since I like the first but from what I read I won't get the bonus armor in Dragon Age 2 on pc since I am buying Dead Space 2 on Ps3. Devs is this true? This doesn't seem fair if it is true since my EA account is linked and all.

That armor actually fits the game! You guys obviously learned from the Blood Dragon armor case in Mass Effect 2. That realy didn't look right.

This actually does. Too bad I don't play horror games. Will I get a camo-face paint for my Hawke for having Bad Company 2 installed?

Yeah, because Doom is the single most inventive FPS ever and any other game that has a survival horror/sci-fi theme MUST be a Doom Clone.

Anyway Doom is an FPS whereas Dead Space 2 is a TPS so it'd be more of a Resident Evil 'rip off' than anything.

Oh man, Dead Space. Fond memories. I had a pothead friend who would always get terrified watching me play it when he was baked.

Yep, DS1 already felt like an Dr. Uwe Boll edition of resident evil.

Hi

I don't know if this was posted or answeared but I want to know one thing.
If I brought Dead Space 2 on the PS3, will the code for the Ser Issac Armor will work for
Dargon Age 2 on the PC?  Caue I play Dead Space on the PS3 and Dragon age on the PC so it'l be shame that i have to play Dead SPace on the PC for me.
