Yeah.....

Safe to say that no one really likes this promotion. Would have been better to make Jedi robes before doing a promotion for a game that most people wont get alongside DA2.

I don't have the time to play this. Good for me that I don't find the armour very attractive

It roughly looks like an AC or ES IV Knights Of The Nine cruisader armor with a sci-fi helmet.

Can't say I'm too fond of the original midages cruisaders...

I wasn't planning to buy Dead Space 2 and I'm STILL not planning to buy it. I'm not really fond of this kind of "crossover" DLC and I wish Bioware would have used their time and resources on something more "valuable" like checking for bugs or developing a bonus mission. But I guess they must have heard this kind of useless complaint dozens of times already.

Now I've seen everything :P
Not a big Dead Space fan so I'll pass :)  The story is great and epic but not worth buying tbh.

In all honesty, Im renting DS2. The first one was cool but definately NOT worth buying IMO. If I can somehow still get access to the armor by renting the game then sure, I'll just knock that process out when the time comes. Otherwise, I have 0 interest in this.

The guys who would have worked on this armour won't be the ones checking for bugs. It'd be part of the marketing budget, not part of the development budget, if anything.

I love how people are complaining about getting something. You complain when you don't get stuff and you complain when you get it. God forbid EA do crossover promotions on releases for future games! They are the devil!

There is a whole thread on the Mass Effect forum of people whining that they can't have armor DLC for ME2 and when people get armor DLC for DA2 they whine about it.

T'is not about getting something - rather 'bout getting a glass bead in return for buying things (/Morri mode)

Clearly you don't travel much and enjoy the benefits of loyalty cards and frequant flyer miles ;)

Customer loyalty should at least be acknowledged.

Travelled far enough and they had a fair share of my customer's loyalty when I even
bought all non-promo (Shale and Warden's Keep were dlc code) but the darkspawn
dlc
- so yes, bought enough glass beads in order to take part in ensuring BW's future
already.
;)

I know others have already asked this, but I'll ask too...

If I buy the Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition for PS3, will I get the armor in my already pre-ordered copy of Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition for PC?

Companies never reward their fans/customers just for the sake of doing so. By including seemingly exclusive armour for one game in the promotion of another game, a potential increase in sales is guaranteed. Then later on, months or perhaps years after the games have been released, the armour can be released as (paid-for) DLC, most likely bundled with other (new) content.

Right, because the Blood Dragon armour is available to buy? Oh, no it's not.

This won't get released outside of this promotion, I can almost guarantee you that.

And yet they're still not selling it to you. It came with new copies of Dragon Age: Origins. The Ultimate edition contains a new copy of Dragon Age: Origins, does it not?

Then don't buy it. You seem to not like a lot of things perhaps you should get some happy pills.
