Pre ordered Sig Edition for PC.

I've had no crash issues with Origins.

I got a family member to pre-ordered the PC Signature Edition for me for Christmas. I'd rather play the game ASAP an encounter a few bugs than wait month for patches to come out.

Also, played Origins the week it came out, and I didn't really encounter any bugs, not that I noticed anyways. It was first when I started adding mods that some things started to get laggy and buggy, but that could often be remedied.

I preordered the signature edition on xbox as soon as I was able to. Had no issues with origins or awakening, and i'm really excited about DA2.

I preordered the Signature Edition and have great confidence in that I will not be disappointed.

I like free stuff, so, preorder. I never had crashes with DAO unless I'd been playing for many hours.

I had zero problems with my GT8800 but now that I have a ATI 4850 I get crashes that happen when too many spells are on the screen, seems a prevalent problem with ATI and DAO (no other games crash that I play though). Still preordered though. ME2 runs flawlessly, I hope there is the same production values with DA2.

Don't EA and nVidia have some sort of deal that ATI don't? That's the cause of your problem right there. ;)

But it isn't. DA:O runs flawlessly on my ATI 5770.  Runs Flawlessly on my cousin's  ATI 6850 too.        I'm no tech guru, but If I were to hazzard a guess as to the reasons why some people were getting crashes but most weren't, I'd say it's probably  because of  something much more specific and personal  rather than  some over-arching thing,  like "the brand of video card being used".

Preordered, cause I believe in Bioware and don't give two bollocks about naysayers.

Pre-ordered. as I have every BW game since Jade Empire. Oddly enough, the only crash problems I've had are with the ME games. And those are infrequent, at best.

Pre-ordered the Signature Edition. I loved Origins (as well as the Mass Effect games) and I expect I will like Dragon Age 2 just as much.

I reluctantly pre-ordered. I hate it being the only way to get the SE. And despite my dislike of some features like the dialogue wheel, I still expect it to be a good game, if not a great game.

I didn't have any problems with crashes in DA:O, btw.

I wasn't planning on pre-ordering, because I usually force myself to turn away from all the useless - yet completely enticing - shtuff that comes along with it, but I'm honestly excited for this game and I have high hopes that it will be a good one(: Besides, who can resist a mabari?

That was Sarcasm, I wasn't being serious - hence the ;)

Though from what other people have said, maybe it is some weird game/driver/card specific issue.
It wouldn't be the first time, and I am sure it won't be the last.

I pre-ordered the SE for PC and Xbox in December. I had zero issues with the console versions of DAO or Awakening, and my issues with the PC version didn't start until Witch Hunt was released. And, honestly, those blips were far less frustrating than the instability I've encountered playing Oblivion, FO3 and FONV.

I pre-ordered.

Normally I never bother pre-ordering something since I've never had a problem with shortages on release days, but since I've always planned on buying DA:2 on its release day or the day after ANYWAY, the free upgrade to Collector's Edition seemed like a very good deal.

This.  Plus, I feel confident that Bioware will address and fix any bugs/crashes issues promptly.  If not, whatever.  I'll muddle through.

I play on the Xbox, so crashing wasn't an issue for me. I pre-ordered months ago before any news of the SE version or anything free came up because I really enjoy Bioware games. They haven't let me down, so I trust them. I'm expecting DA2 to be a great game.

Im waiting. Will see how much they changed and the stability of the game. Plus it'll be cheaper, already got games that needs to be played or re-played.

I'm just going to buy the ordinary version... I like the advantages of pre-ordering, but I don't like getting free stuff at the start which, in my experience, makes the game easier.

I had crashing issues with DA:O, and it got quite annoying at times, but it was still a great game despite that.

The changes they are making in DA2 I'm largely in favor of, so the game is just looking like an improvement over Origins to me. I'd seen enough info on the game, together with BioWare's excellent track record, to know that I was going to buy it on release no matter what - so I thought I might as well pre-order and get the goodies.

Pre-ordered signature edition!  Didn't have any problems with DA:O, and I think Bioware would have a long way to go to make it to the frustration level of FONV ;)

I've played DA:O on two platforms and had zero stability issues. This is a stupid question from this side of the screen.

Not a stupid question at all, what is stupid is your mannerisms.

Notice the part about "this side of the screen"?

Yeah. That's because I've never had crashing issues, and I've played on two different platforms. So asking if I'm going to wait on getting the game due to stability issues are fixed IS a dumb question from my seat, because there were never any stability issues for me.

Sure, it was a slightly rude response. But that's okay, it was supposed to be.
