Apologies if this already exists as a topic. I checked but could not find anything.
So, I was playing through Witch Hunt with an imported character that played through Origins, Awakening and Golems. I saved the City of Amaranthine as well as the Vigil in Awakening, but when I go to the world map and look at the info for Amaranthine in Witch Hunt it claims I burned it to the ground. A few of the other areas seemed off as well, but that one was the most extreme noticable thing that was wrong.
Has anyone else encountered this? Can anything be done about it?
Witch Hunt Amaranthine info wrong

Okay, so, now that Dragon Age 2 is here, this bug did indeed carry over to DA2. Someone just commented on how the Warden Commander burned down the city.
Can *anything* be done about this? I tried replaying Witch Hunt to see if it was a one time bug, but no dice.

I was looking for an answer too. First I imported a game that I saved the Keep. Amaranthine burned dow - ok.
So I've decided to check by myself and used a game that I saved Amaranthine. There is no Amaranthine on map. So, I guess is the same effect for the Witch Hunt. For DA 2 I don't know, I've played without finish Origins... =)

There are plot flags import issues relating to DA. Unfortunately with development having moved onto DA2 it seems unlikely the outstanding issues (and boy are there a lot still) will get resolved. I think I read somewhere that such issues would require another way to rectify them (I think it was because they could no longer patch it as such), though how BioWare will do so is anyone's guess pending an official announcement.
