 Asked this in the official thread, but will ask again -

I think the armour looks pretty damn cool, it doesn't seem to have the horrible low res textures that the blood dragon armour did. I want it! But I plan on buying Dead Space 2 for PS3 and DA2 for PC, can I still get the armour on my PC install of DA2 then?

Never used the blood dragon armor on anyone in Origins ever. I might have used it in Mass Effect 2 if I could have taken my helmet off but nooooooo.

The problem is that the Blood Dragon Armor could have looked cool if they had done away with the hokey design and actually committed in context. Oh well.

The sword isn't part of the DLC - just the armour. Starfang is just there for show. Which perhaps means it'll turn up in DA2.

Well, the promotional page only lists the armour pieces, with no mention of a sword of any sort, and the sword Hawke is wielding changes throughout the trailer, which implies its just there because it glows and looks spangly.

I think I gave my Starfang to Oghren, and I know I gave my Vigilance to Sigrun.

Uhh dude I am getting DA2 SE from best buy. I was just saying that I would have to stick with the free stuff I get in the SE. Really want this armor and the belt, but they are exclusive.

If I recall correctly, the ME2 Blood Dragon armor was only unlocked on the system you purchased it for (PC for PC, 360 for 360), so I would have thought not.

I'm not 100% sure the ME2 BD armor did work that way though... as I purchased ME2 both for 360 and PC so have it on both systems anyway.

This strictly preorder or is this in every new box of DS2? Was planning on buying it anyway but leaving it until the summer games drought to get it at a slightly lower price.

I'd take this with a grain of salt for I have no confirmation ability what-so-ever, but I assume this Dead Space 2 space-man armor unlock code on any platform will work with any platform of DA2.  Bioware's random promotional items tend to be this way.  Stuff like the freebies from using the Character creator, Dragon Age Journeys etc. worked with any platform version of DA:O.  I'm not 100% this will be the case though for DA2; so grains of salt... grains of salt.

The RD armour is not all that terrible but the helm is. As for Dead Space. I played the 1st game and it was not bad but there is a very good chance I won't buy DS2 due to the totally horrendous commercial campaign,

The armor isn't terrible looking.
The helmet is a disaster, though (and I never played Dead Space, so I have no idea what that game's armor looks like).

However, I have no desire to play DS2. So, won't be for me.

Promo makes little sense to me (as I said in some other thread a while back). It's an EA thing.

*edit to add:  Heavy armor for a Rogue?  Doesn't seem to match with the new ninja-rogue style of DA2 . .
