I heard there is a mod where you can quickly get through the fade and retain all of the essences, EXP and codexes.
Does anyone have a link to that, and maybe some feedback? Any common problems associated with the mod?
Also, I've never installed a mod before. It is easy for a computer layman?

This is what you’re looking for I think. Never used it myself but it has 596 endorsements and from the comments it sounds pretty reliable and should give you everything you would normally get by doing the fade. How to install it is in the description.
