The PS3 store description is right. A heavy pistol won't do the job. That's why I put 5 dollars on my account to buy the Firepower Pack. But it does not work. I have received no new weapons in my armory as I was promised. I also have never gotten anything new in there except for the pistol upgrades.

I have found assault rifles, SMGs and stuff laying around and it said they got sent to my armory but there is never anything new in there. Help?  I'm tired of using weak pistols. I want to use the guns I just paid for.

Still not there... Just the pistol. I think it has something to do with the type of DNA modifications I chose at the start. If that's the case then i'm very angry I just wasted money on DLC that I can't even use.

Pretty much this. If your not playing as Soldier (who can use all 3 from the start) or Vanguard (who can use Shotgun and Heavy Pistol from the start) you won't see the other weapons at the start of the game in Shepard's inventory. Firepower pack came out after my PC died so am not sure if you can equip them on your squadmates. If can, a simple way to check that they are there properly would be to check your squadmates weapons lists.

To the OP (and others reporting the issue), don't worry though, you WILL have the chance to be able to access at least one of them later on in the story (trying to keep this post spoiler free).

Also, I think if you can't use the weapons, squadmates that have that weapon speciality can use them.

Buying the firepower or other weapons pack adds another option in that weapon category, if your shephard can already use that weapon type, but it won't unlock additional weapon capabilities for a class that doesn't normally have them.

hey guys, the firepower pack hasnt showed up for me either
nor have any email about them showed up on the game

my ME2 is the PC version here
the firepower pack came for free when I bought the game at EA Store
I have already put the code for the firepower pack on the cerberous redeem thing but still no new weapons

anybody got an idea on whats going on?
I'm at the very beggining at the game
should the weapons be avalible already or just after some mission

under your profile, there is a spot for your registered content. go there
your pack should be listed there download and run the .exe installer.

I just buy FirePower Pack and i have nothing new in my locker! and I already install it!
