I just want to ask what makes it logical for the VS DLC to come next? Apart from the ****storm that will happen if it wont.

And a number of us have shown appreciation for the work BW has done on the Mass Effect series and many of us have been constructive.  But after a year of asking questions and only getting ignored, we are frustrated and we are angry.  That's what happens when people get ignored.  We've been patient, we've watched while others have had their questions about their favorite characters answered and we've posed our questions to Bioware in a civil manner and we have developed a number of support groups to show that we appreciate what they have done and what we would like to see without attacking what Bioware has already done.  But we have nothing to show for it except seeing our favorite characters get pushed further and further into the shadows.

The Ash and Kaidan fanbases, on the whole, are a relatively civil bunch.  But we are tired of being ignored after all the work we've done trying to get Bioware's attention. We're only human, after all.  It's to be expected at this point that people are going to start getting sassy about the silence from Bioware.  It may not be the right way of going about it, but that happens when people reach their breaking point.  And many of us are far beyond that point.

Completely understand where you are coming from.  But does it not make sense for the next big DLC to be about the VS? If it weren't for ME2 PS3, we would probably have it by now.  But I truly believe the next DLC will be about Kaiden/Ashley, and they haven't released it yet since it'll be a much better plot lead in to ME3 than LotSB.

One would think that a VS DLC would be the next logical step, but considering how the VS and the VS fans have been treated lately... many of us are less than optimistic.  I do still hope, though.

it would be huge insult, to me at least, if it was not a VS DLC. We have waited this long hoping and asking for it so if they weren't planning on making it then they should at least tell us so we don't sit here with our hopes up only to be crushed by them releasing something else.

Before you talk about (important) details like Ashley and Kaidan, the first question should have been: Why is the writing in ME 2 so much worse than in ME 1?

**** happens.

ME2 is a stepping stone, more like an ME1.5, where the main plot took a back seat to introduce characters, flesh out the past (the Genophage, Geth, Protheans) and set up ME3 (Quarian/Geth struggle, Dark Energy, Collector base)... The main ME plot taking a backseat would have been fine if the ME2 character recruitment missions weren't structured like a checklist, and there was much more dialogue for the squad (see Garrus and his calibrations as an example of not enough dialogue).

I catch your drift maaan... But yeah, it seems pretty obvious that ME2 is a hype builder for ME3.

I'm not entirely certain what the purpose of that podcast was. It didn't really do anything except promote the comic and ME2 PS3, we learned nothing about ME3 or ME2 dlc which are the two main things fans care about right now. Man ME is going through a bad slump right now with the debacle that was the interactive comic for ME2 PS3, no dlc news in nearly 4 months, and this uneventful podcast. I hate sounding pessimistic but this is probably the first time I've felt a bit dissapointed with where the franchise is at, lets hope things start to pick up steam from here on with some serious ME news.

If BW did as Bethesda did, I would like them even more.  Admit your faults, learn from them, and get back to what makes your root fanbase happy.

Yes, honesty. It can't be that unprecedented a concept, and quite frankly I as a consumer am much more likely to lavish a company with revenue from my pocket if they are honest.

I think the ****storm is the logic. So unless VS is given a huge role in ME3, that ****storm is going to occur.

If there is a DLC, they will not confirm it, because they don't want to reveal anything just yet.  If there isn't, they still wouldn't tell us because of the ****storm if would cause.  IF there is no VS DLC, then perhaps the VS will take a more prominent role in ME3.

That souns just a little bit overdramatic. Even I would be pissed if they wouldn't show up. And I'm not pissed easily.

I don't much care about the VS. There, I said it. What's up with some new DLC for ME2 is what I'm interested in. Will we be getting any info concerning that anytime soon?

I honestly don't give a damn. I'll be happy if it's about VS but I'll be just as happy with anything else.

Did you ask him if Ash and Kaidan fans are always gonna get treated like crap?

I have been wanting to know the answer to this question.
Ash and Kaidan ( see bioware I can spell his name ) seem to always get the short end of the stick, pushed to the side, or most of the time completly ignored. Gets more than a little irritatable .

As long as it's not badly written or a brief, two-minute cameo.

Yeah folks, might want to calm down a bit and actually talk about the podcast itself.

Even negative comments about the podcast will be better received than comments on the lack of a Virmire Survivor DLC.
