I'm more curious as to why the Starfang skin is shown in there.

To me the trailer just felt like some parody, even though it's supposed to be serious. It's that ridiculous.
Where do you get the impression that "it's supposed to be serious"? I really don't get it, and in all honesty I cannot see how anybody would look at that trailer in a serious way. The tone, the scene, the camera and the comment have nothing "serious" about them. Maybe I can see it more because it has been my work in the past, I don't know, but really for me it's obvious that's a joke (with naturally the "serious" bonus of having a set of armor, but that's secondary to the formal intent).
If there's a thing that that trailer is not is "serious", as the other item trailer of DS2.
I guess it is more ridicolous the fact that you want to look a thing seriously when it obviously isn't. So, in fact, what you felt was the right thing, not the logical assumption, as it is many times the case.

No, it's not. It's the kind of thing EA takes seriously.

I haven't seen this clarified anywhere, but if I get the PS3 version of Dead Space2 will I be able to use the code to unlock the armor in the xbox 360 version of Dragon Age 2?
Owners of ANY C&C game out there / pre-purchasers of the upcoming C&C5 should get Kane in DA2 as an unlockable character .... that acutally would be some kinda BLOODY AWESUM! Make him a mage and specialize him on Lightning spells, roasting Enemies the Emperor-Palpatine-Style .... hur .... just got a nerdgasm, sry.s0meguy6665 wrote...
What's next, if you buy the old republic they will put spaceships into da2

Then don't imput the code from Dead Space 2 if you don't want the armor. Pretty simpleslimgrin wrote...

Goddammit, I thought we weren't doing "Buy ridiculous amounts of crap you don't want/need to get bonus content!" this time around.
Frak!
Well, that too. But I mean the whole mixing IP's bit. It's plain silly. If you want to offer a special armor to people who buy Dead Space 2 as well, make the armor consistent with the look and lore of DA.
They really are making some cheesy decisions when it comes to dlc and bonus content for their games.
Oh, and I wanna dress my FemHawke up as Chun Li, cuz I just LOOOVE Street Fighter......
You would think people would be happy about EA giving them a gift for getting both games. But of course, this being the internet, people find something to whine about
You know what?
It doesn't matter how much you defend a company.
Doesn't matter how much you love them, or are loyal to them, or have patience for the things you don't like.
Doesn't matter how much faith you put in them, and how hard you try to get other people to see why you have so much faith, and convince them they should have, too.
You express frustration or irritation at one damn thing and god forbid, you insane hater, you. I mean, all you do is complain.
I reserve my right to b1tch about something when 99% of my time here is spent defending BioWare and their decisions.
Well due to a little glitch every sword's appearence in the game has been replaced with Starfang, deal with it.Ninalupa wrote...

I was going to rage over more "exclusive" content, but the armor looks so ridiculous in the DA setting that I don't even care.
No idea where the source, if any came from... but this guy seems to think that 360 or PC codes unlock both 360 and PC, where as PS3 only unlocks PS3.complacent wrote...
Really wish we could find out if PS3 codes work for 360 before dead space releases tomorrow. Still a few hours to change my pre-order if I need to, so any official word would be awesome.

Charming. You do realise that Saibh was expressing distaste with having to buy stuff she didn't want (deadpsace) to get bonus content. Not that she didn't want the bonus content. Then you respond by calling her inept and saying don't enter the code???TwistedComplex wrote...

I wouldn't respond to you if your complaint wasn't inept
The armor is there for people to use if they want. Or are you just complaining because OTHER people using the armor will somehow break YOUR immersion?
What a load of BS
