I was just wondering if anyone knows how and when to access the Lair of the shadow broker DLC?
I see entries in the journal for Overlord and Kasumi's DLC but nothing about Liara and the shadow broker.
Do you have to wait until a certain point in the game to access it?

It doesn't need to be installed, it's on the disc with Kasumi and Overlord. To answer the question, the mission can't be accessed until a bit further in the story, unlike the other DLC missions which are available from the start.

Well, I looked it up on the Mass Effect wiki to be certain. All the other DLC missions simply list having the DLC as a prerequisite, but LotSB also lists the Horizon mission.

Yeah, I totally forgot about it being on the disk.

He's right. It should pop up later. 

Or you could go to lilium and look her up I guess.

Except you can't get to Illium until later in the game (it doesn't appear on the Galaxy Map), after (as Raynar mentioned) the Horizon mission. Once Illium appears, you can then do the Shadow Broker mission.

You can't get it until you talk to Liara on Illium.

So it shouldn't even appear in the journal or message inbox until later?

I played through the game a while ago before i got any DLC (don't have Shadow broker yet but i read a lot). going by what i read and what dialog options i had with Liara the DLC opens up after talking with her. so basically it opens up at that point in the game.
