I am trying to delete my old existing IDs in character creation, if I create a new Career will it replace my old IDs?

No. Start up a game, select either load or save, then select change career. In that menu, there should be a button marked delete career. Highlight the one you want to purge, and hit the button. You can do it for the one you are currently playing as well. Just make sure you then exit back to main menu without going further.
