Actually, I disagree on that.  I DON'T need him.....if anything, HE needs ME.  Otherwise, he wouldn't have brought Shepard back from the dead in the first place.  So TIM needs Shepard more than he lets on.

Even though my canon playthrough has me blowing up the base, TIM is still one of my favorite characters. I wouldn't kill him. I'd honestly like to reconcile with him in ME3, he's a more useful as an ally than as a corpse. Plus he's a snazzy dresser.

All nations want to be the most powerful. Or, at the very least, no nation wants to be less powerful than the others. They're looking after humanity's interests as a galactic power. The STG serves the same function for the salarians. Are they racist?
