I'm just curious about the girls being a fan of this game. Even though majority of males play it I assume. There is girls out there that do like to kickass, and I think it might be great to have a thread on it. For the women that are fans, what roles did you take on paragon or renegade? what decisions did you make through out the storyline. Was love relationships a big deal to you? Post you're character if you wish, be interesting to hear from the girls point of view that differ from the guys.

here is my character folks.

Garrus fangirls exist and are technically genetically female. So yes.

...Don't listen to the...person 3 posters above me. I'm female and I played ME1 and ME2.

Renegade's a douche, Paragon's a boyscout. But Paragon is the one I play. I did mostly paragon decisions and yes romances were a big deal. Alas since I played male I didn't get the romance option I was interested in and settled for my dude shep being single.

I'd get into detail but this is the no spoilers allowed forum. D:

Supposedly women play ME, but rule #1 of the internet is that there are no women on the internet. Thus there is some sort of criminal conspiracy going on here worthy of it's own CSI series.

Who do you work for?!

I rather doubt that Mass Effect is that popular (there are about 3 billion males alive). P[A|B] =/= P[B|A]

That rule has become obsolete, Recon. Go to any one of the Kaidan, Garrus, Thane, and FemShep threads and you will see just how many women play ME. That being said, it's still a fairly small percentage compared to the amount of guys that do.

/waves.

Paragon mostly with the odd renegade that doesn't make my Shep a complete tool. I play female only and took the obvious romance option (no spoilers means no names I assume) in ME1.

My char if you're interested:

I play a renegade and a paragon.  I have multiple playthroughs.  Romances are icing on the cake of an enjoyable game.  I don't need them, but they're at least a nice bit of development for my Shepard's personality outside of blowing sh*t up.  Honestly, I think if you pay attention to this message board, you'll see plenty of female posters who voice their opinions.  Note that contrary to whatever anyone may believe, there are a lot of male Femshep players and female Manshep players.

The #1 rule of being a sexist d-bag on the internet is stating this supposed "rule" of the internet.  It's never been funny.

By the way, you only need to be on the internet to play Mass Effect 2 if you need to associate DLC with your game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but ME1 can be played entirely offline, with DLC installed.

Women play Mass Effect.  Women play vidya games.  Women do sh*t, get over it.

haha nice to know, I'm 60% paragon and like 40% or so renegade. What's the point being a dick all the time, when you depend on them to save you're life if you need them for that moment. I played the game as if I were living it.

Boyscout is the best term for it. Half of the time being an paragon I felt like having no balls you know. I say put down the spoilers or have the thread be moved to a section that allows spoilers. Should of thought of that before I posted.

Actually it still is funny. On the internet, every teenage boy is an FBI agent and every girl is a 40 year old chinese man.

Sensitive much? I think it's funny and that's all that matters. Yes I do know women play video games and apparently I should have included /sarcasm tags for those ultra-aggressive FemShep players like yourself.

Jesus, you're gonna give Femshep players a bad name if you go talking about them like that.  :)

Well I think you can safely assume by my user name that I'm a woman... or think whatever you wish.

I have 3 Shepards, 2 femSheps and one manShep (am about to play a second manShep)

They fit different roles, so far my femSheps are paragon Soldier, paragade Vanguard LI none(soldier), Kaidan and all three LI for ME2 (Vanguard), for my manShep infilltrator (Renegade) I have only played ME2 (hence why I want to run a 2nd manShep through ME1 and 2) I also played through all the LI.

Depending on whether I played Paragon, Paragade or Renegade, influenced my game play. Although some of my original soldier character playthough did a few renegade things, despite being full paragon in ME2.

LI were initially secondary as when I first played the game through I didn't even realise you could have a romance (Don't know how I avoided it I just did, maybe because I am very very good at avoiding spoilers for games, and the Fox News things I didnt get cos I'm Australian and don't have cable) it wasn't until ME2 that I realised something was going on with the dialogue, and even then when nothing happened (until you hit the O4 relay) I was more interested in game play. ME2 really sucked me in big time. Also since then I found that Bioware have LI in quite a few games (ha Jacob popped my Bioware LI cherry!)

Sorry, you just sounded like one of the FemShep fans who tear out people's throats for saying they didn't love Jennefer Hale's VA for example. They scare me.

The old "no women on the internet" thing is a tradition that must be kept alive.

Damn, I know you'll kickass being shepered. I'm still a noobie to the forums, sadly mistaken thinking this game might be a sausage fest game. I'll keep my eye out for other girls who play this game. Just posted my character on the me2face site.

Played the game as if it was literally me. I goofed off on two missions which I regret which was thane, and big breasted lady with red suit or w/e her name was. Of course they got killed on the collector ship. At least I know women kickass at this game for sure.
