Sorry, you just sounded like one of the FemShep fans who tear out people's throats for saying they didn't love Jennefer Hale's VA for example. They scare me.

The old "no women on the internet" thing is a tradition that must be kept alive.

I think it's a lame tradition, but I play WoW and get a lot of that lame-tradition-overkill.  I love both Hale and Meer's VA--I think they bring different styles to the table and am grateful for both.

Plus, you know, Meer = vorcha = forever loved.

That said, I'm curious as to what the ratio is for game industry workers versus game industry consumers, as far as male to female goes.  I saw a study about EA's workforce.  Granted, it was a bit dated when I read it (few years give or take) but apparently 13% of their employees were female at the time of the study.  Are the statistics similar for those who play games?

Let it be known that we do, indeed, like to kick ass.  Or, yanno, punch reporters.

There are a lot of girl gamers out there, y'know ' browse around the forums/threads and you'll see many of us actively participating in it ^_^v

And to answer your post, I play as a Paragon FemShep. I just can't bring myself to play as DudeShep or Renegade. Not because I think either of them are 'bad' mind you, it's just not how I play my games.

I have uh wut, 20 Sheps I think. I've created one for each romance, some are single, some cheated on the ME1-LI while others stayed faithful. But I'm not female, I'm a 40 year old, bald fat guy and I live in my mom's basement where I sit in front of 10 big screens with my own power supplies in case my conspiracy theories are correct, which I know they are. yah...

Buggirl is definitely female. I can vouch for her. Stay away from her though. She's my internet love and one day I'm gonna marry her and we'll move to Palaven and have many little Garrusses....mhm.

I've been an avid BioWare fan for a little over five years now. I'm a girl--I play WoW, D&D, L5R, pretty much every BioWare and Obsidian game under the sun, board games...yeah. I also happen to think ManShep is win. As is FemShep.

Don't tell anybody this, but I'm going to take all the names and use them to track down their IP addresses. After that I'll find out where they live, go to their houses, smear my body with feces and pleasure myself as I watch them clip their toenails.

I've been playing video games since I don't know when. Loved Prince of Persia in 2D on DOS or Commander Keen. My first epic win was playing through Sid Meyer's Civilization on my old 386 comp back in the day. Then I realized, I'm a crappy gamer because I get bored easily and never remember **** from anything. People can vouch for that. The only game I was ever somewhat decent at was CounterStrike Source and I loved playing a terrorist. People hated me. I have major problems getting into fantasy games and it bugs me that most RPGs are fantasy based. I prefer SciFi and KOTOR was what totaly got me there. Loved it. Then Mass Effect kinda spoiled me on the whole graphic, combat, story, character thing and now I have trouble going back to playing KOTOR. Mass Effect must be the first game that actually got me to sit down and play it more than once or twice.

Other than that, I love horror survival stuff and anything with zombies in it. WOOT Left 4 Dead. Co-op games are fun if people actually play as a team. But again, I'm a crappy gamer and I suck at FPS but at least I admit it. lol.
