[Shepard needs a Vacation]

Even that is over done in the ME universe

How about you see him drinking, he stumbles out the door and gets hit by a bus. Over done but something that has yet to be done in the ME universe.

If he was to sacrifice himself, I would want him to do it alone. He takes the SR-2 through a Mass Relay while he communicates with Anderson, and remaining ME1 and ME2 squad with a voice that you can tell he's nervous.

Shepard climbs his way out of the dead body of a reaper. He sees the sun rise over the horizon and knows he has won, then a human walks up to him. The human glares at shepard then draws a sword.

If (s)he dies? In a blaze of glory unheard of and to be unequalled, with tributes flowing to Earth for decades afterwards, a Dreadnought fire power salute and Shephard post-humously rewarded every medal of gallantry in the Council races member species, multiple times.



Why? Because it would undoubtedly be bad ass of truly titanic proportions, even greater than when Tenga Toppa beats the crap out of another Tenga Toppa while standing on top of the Milky Way Galaxy while the other guy literally throws other galaxy's at him, shuriken style.

I'd actually like it to be done in a manner similar to Crisis Core. In effect, Shepard (for whatever reason), is left behind to delay the enemy while his crew escape. Both Shepard and the player know that s/he will die, and the "ending" begins with a playable portion where you are literally alone against an infinite supply of enemies. After killing a certain number of them, we get a cinematic of the Normandy lifting off living Shepard behind- in this ending you would die, but the crew would live. If you die before this point in the playable part, the enemies catch up with your crew before they escape and they are killed as well. Once you run out of ammo/last out a certain number of waves, we get the ending scene of Shepard going out in a blaze of glory.

Now, I realise the plot would have to be set up in such a way as to engineer this scenario (why would Shepard not leave some of his crew behind instead of staying himself? Why would the Normandy not come back for him/her?), but if done correctly this is the way I would like any "bad" ending of Mass Effect 3 to end.

I could totally support this. Sounds like a pretty good ending, plus fun at the same time.

I want you to be able to survive in the end or sacrifice for the ultimate goal and I DO NOT want it dependent on paragon/renegade. One of my sheps WILL die come ME3 (otherwise I'll be pissed off), but I want the others to survive.

Huskified versions of Team Shepard is a interesting idea. I would rather skip the love scenes though. Those who blew the base also have the potential opportunity to play as Shepard the Husk as there is that piece of branwashing prothean relic on Shepards coffey table.

Shepards get's killed while he is on The normandy's Bridge as CIC get's hit by a small Reaper probe that crushes into Ship after the bridge deflector shields went down.

Basically after the reapers are destroyed a random guy you pissed off at one point tracks you down and takes you out. For example that batarian that starts trouble in front of Afterlife. Or Conrad if he's still alive.

The final mission, you break your squad up into 2-4 different teams. Depending on how you match them up and which objective you send them after, some may die, ala- ME2 suicide mission. Once the teams achieve their objectives you have a decision to make.

You can leave a variable number of your team behind, to make a diversionary attack while the rest of the team books it to the Normandy. They die, but everyone else lives.

Alternatively, you can decide to stay, and several of your most-loyal squad-mates will volunteer to stay with you, saying the lines that Sajuro posted. You get one final fight until you fall in glorious battle. After a certain number of enemies killed, you have the option of ending the mission, or continuing fighting until you're satisfied.

The final cinematic shows your squad-mates that stayed with you fall, one at a time, leaving Shepard the only one remaining. Pop up Renegade and Paragon interrupt option simultaneously.

Renegade interrupt causes Shepard to charge the enemies, blasting through enemies until the weight of numbers finally brings him/her down, unable to fight any more. In a final act of defiance, Shepard detonates a grenade, taking out a final few enemies.

Paragon interrupt has Shepard running to the aid of his/her comrades, dragging them to cover before s/he realizes that they're already dead. Shepard continues to fire from cover until the enemies manage to flank and shoot him/her. Shepard slumps back and regards the fallen comrades beside him/her before bleeding out. Fade to black

Neutral/no interrupt causes Shepard to fall back through a door to a room with no exit as his/her allies fall, locking the door as s/he goes. Satisfied that the enemies have bee delayed for long enough, Shepard slumps against the wall, gun slipping from his/her grip to the floor. As the enemies continue to attempt to access the door, Shepard strips off his/her N-7 armor piece by piece, until they finally break through. the closing shot is from Shepard's perspective, staring down the barrel of a weapon as it's fired.

Btw: I loled and Sajuo's line for Mordin, perfect.

would be sad seeing him die but this would be a good ending. He sets off a very big bomb in the mothership reaper or their home. wiping out all reapers and himself
