Oh, and the bit about Aria...if she had to fight like someone mentioned above....no one would be left alive. Doesn't matter if you don't like her or not...she's one of the scrappiest/cunningest fighters in the galaxy...she'll do anything to survive....look where it's gotten her...power.

To be honest, I'd love to be the one that puts a bullet through that ****'s head.

You may not like *Aleena*, but look where Omega would be without her. Many, Many, Many, Many innocent civilians would be dead/dying/suffering. She's not all that bad...she just has to portray herself as a jerk/person with immense power. It's more something you have to understand. She is moreso safe in Omega...she can control it, and she doesn't have to run anymore. She's not a dictator, not really.

I'm not arguing her usefulness. I'm just saying if the opportunity and necessity ever arose, I'll be more than willing to be the one that pulls the trigger.

She's not badass, she thinks she is. After she said f*ck, she had this stupid smile as if she said something witty or badass. She's a moron with power.
She beat Wrex. You can't get more badass than that.
When did she fight Wrex?
I like Captain Anderson, he could sacrfice himself for the good of the galaxy. In a really badass and heroic way. I kinda wouldn't want him to, though.

The fallen mentor? A classic, but done in a decent way it's a good classic.
That is quite true, it's been done before in both good and bad ways. Hopefully if they do it that way, it will be with a gesture worthy of the effort. But who knows? Bioware has dropped the ball before, in mass effect and in other games, they could completely ruin it in ways fans would hate. But i doubt they would lose any sleep over it.

Also I agree with yesikareyes: not Aria. I love her way too much to have her killed for story/plot/whatever reasons.

People like Anderson and Hackett, should die with their boots on, if they die.
Aria however, I wouldn't miss. Never thought she was that spectacular, didn't like the actress too much in Matrix trilogy either, but that's just me.

Aria is Aleena, the fabled merc that got away from Wrex long ago. How do we know this? Because when talking to Aria in Mass 2, she goes, "Better luck next time." Which in fact, is what Aleena said to Wrex, or rather, had written it.

That is alot of speculation with little fact behind it other then a shared phrasing of words. Unless if bioware confirms it was her, which to the best of my knowledge they have yet to do, i figure they are diffrent people. I could be completely wrong her, but all of you who think she is one and the same, could be as equally wrong, and how did the subject drift here anyway?
This thread is supposed to be about a possible death of anderson, not some asari ho with a chip on her shoulder.

In what context does she say "Better luck next time"? It's not like that phrase is unique to Aria. How does she know that Wrex told her that story?

I have a feeling Anderson is going to be the unavoidable death since it would hit a lot of the players and Shepard. It would also be a sad death if done very well done.
Well if the writing won't improve - nothing could possibly hit Shepard... he would just "I have to go" with it. And without me being a douchebag about ME2, I hope he won't die.

Aria? Really? I would love to see her go out Scarface style though.
Carrie Anne Moss plays the second best bad ass asari in the galaxy. Yeah, if ever she goes down it has to be epic but still it would be awesome if he should could help you out as an ally.
I sort of considered that whole scene a plot hole, since earlier the other guy who greets Shepard and tells her to go see Aria already knows Shepard's whole backstory. For Aria to be beating her chest like that in front of someone who took down a Reaper? Isn't that a bit absurd? Either way I really wanted to give her access to discount dental work via the butt of my shotgun and hope there's opportunity yet for that in ME3. You know, before we consider how to save the universe together and such
