Fix'd.

I'd rather Hawke be Jaime; Tyrion would be fun to watch do his thing, but I think he'd lose something as the PC; whereas I think Jaime would be a blast to rp first person.  Though I'd rather Bethany not be Cersei, I hated her ... if she had to be someone, maybe Sansa Stark. (In which case I want Merrill to be Arya)

If that's true, read the first three books in the "Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin. (originally the first three were supposed to be a stand alone trilogy, with a ten year gap before they picked up with the same characters again for another, so you can read the first three that way for the most part - only one character thread ends poorly for that) The series is really worth the read (at least those first three books) and highly recommended for any fantasy fiction fan; especially those who like their fantasy a little "darker".

Bethany and Carver are the twins though. But Carver definitely doesn't give off any Jaime vibes. I think going with the Stark kids fits better.

Carver = Bran (or maybe Rickon )
Garrett = Robb
Marian = Arya

Honestly, I hope they're very loving siblings. Because when I played DAO, I played a dwarf noble first....and after that intro and the sibling betrayal, I spent the whole game thinking anything and everything was going to betray me. I almost killed genetivi because I was so certain he was going to be secretly evil and turn on me as soon as I finished the dungeon.

Well I made two modules, thanks for saying they were awesome.  I'm helping with a DA project and have ideas for a few things but nothing immenent. 

I've heard a lot about these fire and ice books.  I will have to look for them after I get ride of the few books back logged as it is.

LOL  i thought i was the only one who was suspicious of Brother Genetivi . I thought he might have been a fake like Weylon .

Well Carver will have a very stoic personality as he'll be dead and bethany will be much the same when I have the templars tranquil her.
You have to put family first.

I can see it now in Blothulfur's playthrough:

I wonder if Bethany and Carver will come with "predefined" personalities and family history with Hawke that will be revealed to our character as we play the game.......



or, if we can have a hand in "defining" their personalities and history with Hawke based on dialog choices..........



like, based on certain dialog choices, can we establish that Hawke and Bethany have always been close, or maybe there's been sibling rivalry/jealousy since they were young...........

Lol... you release the very first choice in the game, is which of your siblings are you going to kill... lol.

Story wise, hawke doesn't kill either of course, but the player, well the player puts a bullet through one of their skulls!

Carver resents apostate mages for bringing the wrath of templars down on your little party, while Bethany is an apostate mage who will call the wrath of templars down on your little party. She's the nicer twin.

If I had to guess, Carver is a rough guy with a heart of gold, who says things but would never really abandon his big brother/sister.



Bethany I'm guessing is the smart one..maybe even the sly one, after all, she's spent her whole life hiding what she is, she's got to be good at deception. Or heck, maybe she's even a chronic liar, one of those people who constantly tells little lies untill someone calls them on it.....she'd probably get along great with Varric then.
