For those of you having trouble with embedding. Before you paste your embed code from youtube into the post you want to click on the little button that says BBcode and then paste after it's clicked on. Then your embeds will work.
Perhaps you might consider adding that instruction to the first post - if this thread goes on for many pages, it'll be easier to refer people to the first post, when they struggle to embed things.
Anyway, my "theme song" might as well be....

Modern technology is largely rubbish, though I really don't lament the demise of the record needle! How come no matter how much I used the dust-removal contraptions, within about three revolutions there was a lump of dust about the size and scratchiness of a hedgehog attached to the stylus?blothulfur wrote...
Tried embedding an lp into my computer and scratched the vinyl, modern technology hates me.

What was oddly unsatisfying was the fact that LPs never broke like you'd see on the telly: they'd just bend annoyingly. At least "that" scene from Shaun of the Dead redeemed them somewhat.blothulfur wrote...
I find removing that dust oddly satisfying, i'm not quite right I think.

Not that I was in the habit of torturing my vinyl of course, all of which remains unmolested beyond its encounters with the "stylus hedgehog".

Catch your breath,
Hit the wall,
Scream out loud,
As you start to crawl,
Back in your cage,
The only place,
Where they will,
Leave you alone,
