Hey guys:
I'm Got this game and it's amazing. The only problem I'm having is that in some cutscenes the sound is out of sync. For example: i'm at the part when sheppard is going to recruit Jack at the prison. When I'm at the boss in the cutscene the boss is shooting but you can hear the shot a second later. It happened to me in a couple of cutscene.
This is totally killing the experience for me. Do you have any idea why this is happening. Is Bioware going to launch a Patch to fix it. Any help would be great.

Happens on the 360 version too.

So you mean there is no way to fix it?

No, unless a patch is release that fixes this. AFAIK, many bugs that are in the game are also found in the X360 version.

On the PC version sync problems are caused by framedrops. If the game doesn't maintain a constant 30fps or higher, some sound effects will not be in sync. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version drop to 20 frames per second in some cutscenes so that may be the cause.

Well... they better fix it. Because like i said, the game is EPIC, but this little problem kills the experience for me because I have the problem in the action cutscenes. So I will apreciate if Bioware patch this game for us to enjoy it even more.

I've never had any sound sync issues (do get the freezing issue though). My sound goes through the optical port to a Home Cinema 5.1 system. Is that likely to have anything to do with it?
Do the folks with sound issues have sound going through the HDMI to the tv?

Has Bioware posted anything about this problem?
Also I heard the digital copy of the game has no audio lag. Is that true?
If they haven´t posted anything about this problem or not admitted it exists then what up devs?
Chould you explain to us why this problem is still in the game?
Is it because it can´t be fixed?
Dont have the resources to do it?
Dont care?
Any info on this from devs would be great. Better than saying nothing. If its unfixable then we can move on. I just hope ME3 wont be like this because that would be a tragedy.

Im assuming you are playing the ps3 version of the game?
Which settingsdo you have for sound (dolby digital, linear pcm 44 khz etc?
Do you have any extra things installed on your ps3 or modified in any way?
Do you have any patches installed. Since you get freezes but no audio lag?
Trying to gather as much info on this as possible to find a fix to this hehe

I forgot this one in my own thread, but the sound during the cutscene in which the heavy mech was decimating the Quarians on Freedom's Progress was out of sync as well, which definitely isn't the case in the 360 version.

Ok I have been playing for a while now and the OUT OF SYNC AUDIO by 3 seconds almost and ABRUPT VOICE CUT is seriously getting on my nerves especially because half the game is made of cutscenes. Its getting worse as the game progresses and really detracts from the whole experience...Jesse mate I know you are paying attention to the PS3 version can you please acknowledge this issue and tell us if we can expect a fix soon? There are many complaints on the forum about this issue already and so far we have heard nothing regarding it. Thanks

Bioware please, please, please.
One favor, small one, can you confirm whether or not there will be a fix for the audio issues? Someone just confirm or not so we know if there is a point to post about it or not. The sound issues are very very very annoying considering this game is all about dialogues and cutscenes. So please say something so I know if there is a point waiting for a fix or not.

Agree with Valkyre4 - It's about time to start vocalizing your intentions.
