These visuals are all over the place. Sometimes the game looks good, at other times it looks horrible. And the lighting extremely inconsistent. Why do the characters look pale white half the time?

I have zero worries, screenshots almost without exception totally suck compared to real live viewing. I'm not a graphics expert so like real art at the art Gallery I look at it and either like it or don't but I can't say why.
That 2nd image could easily be one of Varrics tall tales.

(I hate having to copy and paste links every time I want to study a picture. So, here, for the lazy.)
As a side note, The Deep Roads look better. More open, less claustrophobic. Architecture helps to make it seem less monotonous.
I hope there's different lighting as you traverse it, though.

it looks like gamestar is running it on my mom's desktop. The inconsistency in graphics is due to the inconsistency in PCs and their graphics capabilities.
Because immersion is subjective.s0meguy6665 wrote...

I think it looks better than the majority we saw in Origins.
your immersion is killed simply by your sword being in the ground for a second? how do you ever expect to be immersed in a game at all?s0meguy6665 wrote...

I don't like the helmet. It does look better than many in Origins. I'm still going to make fun of the helmets.GodWood wrote...
