If this is a conversation about what is to come in ME3 then the title should specify so.  I was expressing my opinion on her character  (yes I know she's actually fictional) and this thread titled "Miranda's outfit is sexist and over the top."  Pardon me for trying to stay on topic.  Perhaps you should give it a try.

Again, we can't have a conversation about something without knowing what it is. I could have a very large conversation with you about Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome and it's effects on both infants and their mother. Would that mean anything to you if you didn't know what it was?

It seems to me that you need to rename the topic. Everybody is addressing Miranda because that is what you chose to comment on.

Bioware is not being chauvinistic or sexist. There's eye candy for both men and women (as I pointed out earlier).

Also, Bioware never stated they are doing full frontal nudity. When you say careless things like that (or your 2007 remark), it's considered inflammatory. Don't state things like that unless you have a link to back your words up. Otherwise, you're just doing troll behavior.

You haven’t debated this topic at all The point in a debate is to bring up points and alternative ways of thinking about the topic to try and make the other person see things from your point of view. You haven’t bought up any counter arguments at all. You simply ignore the points everyone is making and tell people to get back on topic when they are actually on topic. You are derailing your own thread.

And I have a feeling this is going to just keep going around in circles.

My thoughts are that mangeo finds Miranda's look intimidating if he's fine with Samara's outfit and Jack's collection of belts but is not fine with Miranda's outfit.



Miranda was designed to be drop dead gorgeous and she purposefully dresses to show it off. That's what she wants and she gets what she wants.



Off-topic, her hexy white suit is hideous. The black is amazing.

This topic is exactly like one we had just a few days ago, except there was less secondhand embarrassment all around in that one.



Miranda's outfit is fine given her personality: someone who is not afraid to use her sex appeal to get what she wants. Do I wish she would throw on a sensible piece of armor when she ran out and shot stuff? Why, yes.



But pointing at an outfit that isn't 100% tasteful and shouting "SEXIST!!!" IS sexist. Because hey, there's an actual person there! Maybe she has depth and free thought and wears these clothes because they fit who she is! Or, you know, she's a girl so it's sexist. Either one.
