Dragon Age Legends has just posted an update on their EA blog on what sorts of DA2 loot we can earn by playing their game.

About That Phat Loot

No real details (aka stats) are provided, but there are some nice drawings of all the items offered.

The game is still in early beta so this could easily change but this is what we can expect to unlock in Dragon Age 2 by playing Dragon Age Legends:


Evra's Might:

When Evra gained notoriety by defeating the Blood Sisters of Vehnstel, he was wearing his signature ring.Although the massive size of the solid gold ring attracts attention, it served a more practical purpose for Evra: he used it to punch demons in the face, sometimes felling them in a single blow.

Evra's Trophy Belt:

This grisly belt is filled with monstrous teeth, chipped blades, craps of fur, and armor fragments. Each piece is said to be a trophy collected by Evra during his many adventures.

Air of Confidence:

After averting a disaster at the Circle of Markham, Evra was given this ring by the First Enchanter. Though the Air of Confidence is not as eye-catching as his other famous ring, it is said that Evra always wore it, even when sleeping. The exact magical properties of the Air of Confidence are a subject of much speculation amongst mages.

Ivo Family Crest:

Evolving over the years, the crest of House Ivo has become much more ornate than Paragon Ivo's original design. This ancient golden amulet bears the original crest. Though the engravings are simple, the stark lines are somehow deeply stirring.

Dura's Blue Flame:

This weathered silver amulet has passed through many hands over the years. A deep blue sapphire almost glows in a certain light. Although time has faded its intricate engravings, the amulet has a certain majesty about it.

Me. Yes, I was blind. I knew the moment they said they were going to do a Facebook tie-in that there would be unlockable items, but I never thought about it when I was gushing over all the other swag they offered.

Seriously? I mean, the object design is OK, but...


The trophy belt looks cool and the backstory for that is interesting.

It's neat to see stuff from Journeys tie into Legends, though I don't see how "Duru" was hard to pronounce. "Dura" fits the object better, but I don't know if it's easier to pronounce...

I think the practicality of a demon punching ring declines rapidly when said ability to punch is not present in DA2.

Though I have to agree that the section about Evra's Might just seems to come across as childish or juvenile to me when you repeat "punching demons in the face". I get it, the characters supposed to be reall really cool <_<

Is there a date about when DA legends is going to be playable?

Evra punched demons in the face while wearing the ring. It does not make it a punching ring. If the Ring gives +1 Strength and damage bonus against demons, it's good enough.



Looking forward to this, hopefully it won't be too complicated receiving these. And if they can avoid the bug from journeys ...

I've managed to collect all the DLC/Promotions for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age: Origins and keep my sanity. Dragon Age II, I think I'll loose it.

Punching demons in the face? I thought we couldn't punch people anymore... I thought we always had some sort of weapon.

Some of them sounds cool, but I really wich in vain probably) for a better way to get the loot then to just drop it in Hawkes inventory at the start.
