Hello I was wondering what kind of specializations I should use for my future archery character build. Also I apologize if my english is off; I didnt get a lot of sleep exactly.

Edit: Oh btw I intend this character to be a rogue and of the Dalish origin.

I almost always go with Duelist/ Assassin, and only rarely take any Assassin talents; perhaps the first one. I am not much into Bards and leave it for Lil, and have not yet tried a Ranger.

I could've sworn Duelist is more of a melee build same for assassin.

Assassin is very much for a melee build. If you are not spending any talent points on a second specialization though, the pasive bonus from Assassin is the best. But more than one point in Assassin doesn't give any kind of bonus for an archer. If you have more than one point, something like Ranger would be much better. Bard too, by the way.



Duelist is fine for ranged, for the Dueling talent. Pinpoint Strike CAN work with ranged weapons if you equip a melee weapon, use it and then switch.

I used ranger/bard. The pet's can help out if you're using a single melee (tank) or that one ability that kills someone to heal a blood mage. Bard's song of courage is totally worth going for.

For I have a cunning build, I chose Duelist for the attack bonus first, Second will be either bard or ranger. Whereas bard profits greatly from the high cunning.

Huh that is quite interesting ok thank you guys I have now decided. I shall go Bard/Ranger having an extra "party member" is always nice and song of courage is awesome.
