This thread is meant to be a revival of sorts. There has been alot of negativity lately, and so I wanted to create this thread...so that we can all share the happy moments of both Mass Effect 1 and 2. What were some of your favorite moments? You can include anything you want...characters, settings, weapons, etc.

*Oh, and as a warning to those who haven't finished either game yet for any reason...

Spoiler warning...

That part made me so happy! I felt like I personally knew Wrex at that moment....like...like seeing an old friend from a loooong time ago. This was written so well! I also loved that ME1 theme music in the background...was so nostalgia filled!

Also too, reuniting with Garrus was amazing! I totally felt like he was my best friend...and talking/joking with him was a great experience.

I was thinking more of a developer appreciation thread since that's the main negativity going around. This might be flagged since it would contain spoilers, and is in a non spoiler forum. I'm not saying the idea is bad, just maybe it should be in the ME2 spoiler forum. :)

I have to agree with you though, playing ME2 first time with Garrus was the best. It was somebody that you got to know in the first game, and then continue that relationship in the second. It was awesome. That's a defining point of the series. The continuity.

Oh yeah  totally understand what your saying. I just wanted to start this to add some positivity to this forum. I figure, as many optomistic based threads we have, the better our message will get across.

Funnily enough one of my favorite parts is the Renegade option to push the Eclipse merc out the window. I'm a hardcore Paragon Shepard...but I always go for it. Funnily enough, I always hear Shepard saying "Bye" LOL.

You know what? Every time that option comes up, I want to press the interrupt sooo badly, because I know that Bioware made that animation look amazing...but I try to withhold my finger from pressing the button.

That we appreciate the work that the Devs have put into Mass Effect...and we realize that MANY of the posts and threads that have been put up for a while now have been extremely negatively based. Some of us just came to teh conclusion that we as a fanbase are alienating ourselves from the Devs (as a community), so we want to create threads that show respect and appreciation to Bioware and to Mass Effect....we can use your help! And whoever you are reader, we need your help too!

Let's make this forum fun again. (Mass Effect style of course)

One of the most happy memories I've had when I first started to play Mass Effect 2 was when going to The Citadel and running into Khalisah al Jilani again. Since I always go renegade, I never get tired of listening to "I've had enough of your disingenuous assertions." Then Shepard punches her in the face. Absolutely priceless. Also when Shepard is getting a discount by saying "Hey everyone! This store discriminates against the poor."

That was a funny moment. How about In Lair of The Shadow Broker...

watching the Krogan, and well.....basically everybody on that camera/video feed. That was extremely interesting to me.

About the LotSB cam feeds...

What I found even more hilarious than the Krogan punching the reporter was Udina pushing that dude, for some reason.

Or, reading about the Dossiers about my crew actually made me extremely happy as well.

Learning all those things about like Miranda <3, Grunt, even Jack...it was super interesting. It was one of those things that appealed to the "fanfic writer" in me haha! But, Bioware, I loved the dossiers...even after the end of Mass Effect 3, that would keep me coming back for more...the dossiers alone. Super interesting.

There were so many in LotSB =).

Shepard - What kind of guns does this thing have?

Liara - It's a taxi, it has a fare meter.

Shepard - Wonderful!

Haha ^ Or the whole Omni Gel reference....was amazingly beautiful.

"You remember the good old days when you could just slap omni-gel on everything?"

-That line made me laugh while I was playing the game!

From ME1 it has to be either the talk with Vigil... it was so interesting and you get to learn alot more of the reaper invasion and the protheans or the very last part of Ilos when youre racing towards the conduit... sooo epic

For ME2 definately seeing Garrus again hes my favorite ME NPC. and on LotSB when you and liara are driving after Tela Vasir and liara freaking out and Shepards just stay cool and saying some smart-alex comment! halarious!

Kane-Corr

way to go with this thread because i agree with you. the mass effect series are my favorite games(before this it was Knights of the old republic) and the Devs totally deserve praise after being critized so badly by some people in this forum that are pissed off at bioware for making a great game. it doesnt make sense
