For ME2 definately seeing Garrus again hes my favorite ME NPC. and on LotSB when you and liara are driving after Tela Vasir and liara freaking out and Shepards just stay cool and saying some smart-alex comment! halarious!

way to go with this thread because i agree with you. the mass effect series are my favorite games(before this it was Knights of the old republic) and the Devs totally deserve praise after being critized so badly by some people in this forum that are pissed off at bioware for making a great game. it doesnt make sense

Yes! Those were amazing moments! That cab ride was sooo epic. And thanks for agreeing with me about the whole appreciation thing. Hopefully there will be more threads popping up soon about...well...better things, more appreciative things....geared towards the devs and Mass Effect in general.

It was really cool being with them in the first game. I have full faith that Bioware will do them justice in the third game. With this being the final installment, they'll tie everything together. It's going to be great! Yeah! This was insanely epic as well. It was a crazy build up that crescendo'd into an exciting conclusion. It was one of those "wow" moments for me when I first played the game. I wish I could travel back in time to the minute I first put both Mass 1 and 2 into my disc tray! Moments I will always hold onto for the rest of my life!

Oh, also too...haha I have alot of moments that made me happy...but I got everyone out alive in Mass 2, and seeing that ending cinematic, where the team is finishing up/starting (I don't know which) with loading the weaponry, and it seems they are all in conversation and all, and they just start to look at you and nod.



I felt so proud at that moment! I was just like...."Aw, my family loves me!" Hahahaha

Out of Mass Effect one and two, I have to say some of my favorite parts are meeting Tali for the first time, and meeting Wrex the well when he joined the squad

- Friendly chat with Sovereign

- Ilos

- Destiny Ascention's captain saying "Reinforcements! Its the Alliance!" (or something like that)

- Normandy leading the final assault against Sovereign



Second Game:

- Almost all sound tracks are golden

- Korlus mission

- Meeting Garrus

- Meeting Tali on Halestrom

- Meeting Wrex on Tuchanka

- Grunt's loyalty mission

- Meeting a ton of friends (and enemies) from ME1 (Helena Blake, Shiala, Fist, Harkin, Rana etc)

- Suicide mission conclusion... telling to TIM to **** off

For me, I romanced Miranda...and seeing her tell TIM that she was done was amazing...I felt so happy that she would fully trust me enough to just cut ties with Cerberus

Miranda speech pwns on the suicide mission. Not my favorite character but she+grunt=monster team (she increases all party member dmg, pwns harbinger with heavy warp and grunt... heh squad incendiary ammo plus he never dies) so I always pick them for the final fights. I watched a video on YT where a guy compiled a list of death scenes and she refuses to die even when not loyal. She is a beast.

I hear that! Yeah...I usually went with Miranda and Garrus....and the enemies went flying...hahah...she is extremely strong willed...basically the kind of person you want on your team against the Reapers.

Oh...and must I say...the Overlord DLC where you get to drive around....man, what a stunning sight, overlooking the canyon and the valley below. Then turning (hovering) around 180 degrees to see that massive and luscious waterfall!

From ME1Hightlights(Spoilers)

-The first time you dock on the Citadel.That moment is synonymous with Mass Effect.Loved it the music,the pacing,the dialog,the camera angles,the Destiny Accentian,the Alliance tower operator greeting you.

-Garrus,Wrex and Tali's introductory movies.When Wrex threaten the Krogan Bouncer and the C-Sec guard,Garrus's headshot and especially Tali,using the Grenade on the Salarians.Perfectly illustrates their image.Krogan Merc,Turian Marksman,Quarian tech specialist.

-The Therum battle against the Armature,Hoppers,Geth in-front of Liara;'s digsite.You just feel surrounded and outgunned(The Geth are so intimidating).
The music is very powerful and the environment adds alot to the mood.Heat,steam,lava and Geth,Felt like an all-out war.

-The Fight agianst Benezia,if Liara is in your team.The whole sequence is so vibrant.Benizia's inner turmoil,Liara fighting and watching her mother die,and then the Queen possessing that Commando.

-Vermire,Wrex vs Shepard.That blasted comic is so insulting to Wrex as a character.The guy was willing to defend the future of his people at the cost of his life,this from a Krogan and a merc,makes Shepard seem like such a duche. And of course Saren.The villain show up at the worst possible time.And its revealed that the guy aint even a villain,but is trying to save the universe from his own perspective.

-Udina's betrayal sequence.To go so far and achieve so much,only to be stopped by a damn politician.How your crew sticks to you.And the absolute awesomeness - Anderson headbutts the Turian after the lockdown.:oSuch determination,such a bad-ass.So dramatic,you dont know if he survived the qunshot wound.\\\\

From ME1 (Spoilers) the entire mission on Virmire, it was just so epic from the confrontation with Wrex, to the conversation with sovereign, and ultimately deciding who lives Ash or Kaiden



From ME2 reuniting with your old squad especially Wrex and Garrus and also when your squad gives you their nods of approval after the suicide mission, You just get the feeling that they have your back

From 1: Nihulus getting shot surprised the heck out of me! The 1st time I ran into a Thresher Maw I almost wet myself! As another poster said: All of Virmire and the "Jump" to the Citadel for the Finale.

From 2: as a few other Posters have said; seeing ALL the old crew again, but especially Garrus since the change he went through was really well done! Jack, she gets such a bad rap from a lot of folks on these Forums but it's so obvious that under all those Tattoos and the tough-girl exterior there's a very Haunted little girl that never got a childhood. And when they 1st pull up that 3D Map of their final destinantion...as soon as I saw it I said out loud "That looks like the Galactic Core! It's the Galactic Core!" and then they said it...pretty cool moment for me.

My happiest moments were the ending in ME1 and discovering Archangel's true identity in ME2.

The Suicide Mission was also a very good moment, mostly due to the music and the overall pacing.

Good memories of Mass Effect?

It's definitely missions without a combat. Such as Normandy's crash site, Thane's loyalty mission and Samara's loyalty mission.

Unique and memorable.

That scene was very well done, I have to agree.

I liked driving the mako on the planets with impressive scenery, mainly the ones with massive moons or planets in the sky.



I also liked interacting with the crew members. It was fun to see how first impressions changed upon getting to know them. I especially liked getting to know Ashley and Miranda, because I seriously hated them at first. But in time, they both grew on me to where I considered them great friends. Garrus' character development through both games was also amazing.



I also liked Kaidan being an LI, because out of all of Bioware's female LI's, I felt like he was the only one who I'd date in real life (Garrus too, I suppose, but he was like my bff so that was kinda awkward when he suggest "working out stress together"). He seemed like the kind of guy you could grab a drink with and watch the game or w/e.



And I loved the final confrontation with TIM in ME2.
