Where did you get the info about a ring in the signature edition? I never saw that.

About the Ring in SE.



It is called the "Ring of Plisken", it is a rogue ring that gives 10 cunning and makes all stealth skills, and back-stabs, twice as effective. Weakens nearby darkspawn.

"In the years following the second blight a group of displaced humans under the guidance of the Grey Warden Nocato swore an oath to pursue the darkspawn back to their lairs. Each man was entrusted with an enchanted ring that seemed able to make them one with the shadows of the Deep Roads. This ring belonged to the last and greatest of these brave individuals, Plisken the Old."

The info is from http://www.shadmo-times.jp but some say that it is false.

I know it was a longshot, but I was half expecting to see stats. We kind of got that with Ser Isaac's armor, though.

That reference is false. As I stated in the thread you no doubt got that "information" from, the domain does not even exist (is not registered) this can be confirmed by querying the japanese whois (domain information lookup) servers.

If the actual information is true or not however is debatable... even so I think it's rather unlikely that there's a ring that gives all those bonuses.

Not that I wouldn't mind it being true. A ring that does all that, plus Ser Isaac's armor for my first playtrhough as a Rogue? That'd be nice.

Highly doubt that ring is that good.  I hope they made something for dual wield rogues, though, as Bioware tends to forget dual wield rogues in the gear that they have made in the past, and haven't shown any inroads towards changing that in any of the dlc released so far in this game.

How are the stats for that Ring known, but not for any of that other stuff listed?  Always bugged me.

sorry but for some of these items stats haven't even been released, but i put stats for a few of the items

and i won't put the ring info until it is confirmed by a reliable source

I have found the same info on Russian sites, saying the same thing.

But they might have taken the info from here. Since the name of the Ring doesnt exist anywhere else then that I would guess that it is indeed fake. Sadly. I wish people wouldn't post fals info like that.

Heh, yeah looks to me as that site found the information on these forums, and then posted it.
The description (in Russian) and stats are the same as what the person wrote in the topic here.

there was problems with people not getting the emails for the codes so they just made a fix in letting you get the staff entered directly into your account on here

i would switch the pre-order to the EA store, but then i'd lose my signature edition. why do game developers do this kind of nonsense? especially since they seem to have announced it the day after the signature edition deadline, and i pre-ordered back in like december. that's just a mean trick.

Well the Irons belt seems kinda worthless anyway. Besides, you can get Hindsight easily enough.



Personally, with Irons belt being EA store exclusive, I get the feeling that other retailer specific preorder bonus DLC will be revealed soon enough. The Amulet of Ashes thing only serves to solidify this belief.

With the signature edition off the table, the incentives for pre-order are as follows:

However, one nagging question that affects me in particular is if the EA Store accurately lists only the Xbox 360 and PC versions as having this content. Go to the pre-order splash screen, click on the pre-order button, and when presented with the drop down box for versions, it lists "Exclusive items included" after the 360 an PC box and download versions, but nothing after the PS3. Me smells the shaft once again as a PS3 player....



I tried to get clarification from EA Support reps via chat, but all they could say is that they can't say anything, in a nutshell. I respect that they cannot individually give out info, but this may clinch where or even if I pre-order at all. Gamestop lists the content under the PS3 copy, but parinoia has me wondering if that is just a copy past job. Can anyone else confirm?

I think you are being paranoid. You go to the add-ons page on the DA-II site, it specifically lists PS3 there. Mac also. EA screws so many things up it ain't funny. If it were Xbox and PC exclusive Bioware would have said something I am sure, and PS3 wouldn't be listed on that site.
