Ser Issac has appeared in my registered promotions for PS3.
To go into detail I played Dead Space 2 on my PS3 and it automatically logged me in when I started the game, to verify you're logged in you might have to go to multiplayer & press square, it said I was signed into my corresponding EA account's email. You might have to use an online pass or start the 2 day free trial if you rented it/got it used to access the multiplayer. As with most promotions your EA account & PSN id will have to use the same email.
And thus I have good news for you, I just confirmed you can simply rent the game (since that's what I did) and unlock the armor for Dragon Age II on PS3, so you'll only have to spend like $5
That is very sweet news to hear, even though I've been considering getting it anyway (Resident Evil in space? Hey why not.) But if I don't like it, good to see there's an alternative. Thanks for the heads up.

If you're into Horror games, DS is well worth playing. Though I'd recommend playing DS1 before DS2 as the story follows on from where you left off. I got DS1 during the Steam sales and really enjoyed it. (Despite the PC controls being appalling... thankfully I could use my 360 controller with it on the PC!)Shiratori wrote...

Having said that, if it's like the demo there was a "what happened last time" video so it would probably still make some sense if you just purchased DS2.

Hah, I did the same. Purchased ME2 loved it then went and got ME1. I actually got both ME games twice, origionally for the 360 then for the PC, that's how much I like the games.Shiratori wrote...
Heh, well, I never played Mass Effect 1 until after I had beaten Mass Effect 2 so I have precedence here. That said, if I did pick up the first one, I'd probably do it on the PS3 just because my laptop really isn't a gaming machine, but was adequate enough for Dragon Age (but barely for Mass Effect 2). But thanks for the advice both of you.

My copy of DS2 just arrived - It's not actually out until tomorrow here, but yay for pre-orders I have already redeemed my armor, can't wait to use it on DA2! Heavy armor on my Rogue sounds pretty awesome.
And thanks. The image looks much better smaller than the full sized version.

Hindsight belt has been fixed (at least for me) and shows up for all three platforms on my registered game promotions.
Not that it matters in my case as I am getting the PC version anyhow.
Yea pretty much same here I registered twice but still not unlocking for ps3 go figure.

Just a thought - do you have your PSN profile linked with your EA account?Uplinkpro wrote...

The screenshot I saw of it being redeemed on the PS3 had their PSN profile listed, where as I do not have a PS3 or PSN profile. I'm wondering if that is something to do with it?
As I said, it doesn't matter for me but if you don't have your PSN profile linked, maybe it'd be worth trying that and see if it is displayed then.

I hope so too, cause this could
potentially be an AUD$100 decision for my fiancee' and I. Alot of money
we COULD be putting toward our wedding.
Thank you very much, and I presume my fiancee's thanks as well. And I'd also like to thank Bioware. We PS3 owners finally get to cheat the Xbox players for once instead of the other way around!

Pretty sure the answer is no, though there was a conflicting post in the announcement thread earlier that someone had put from EA support..obsessedwjpn wrote...
I have a question: I have a digital PC version of Dead Space 2, does the DLC Isaac Armor for DA2 still come with it? If it doesn't that is fine, I am just curious. I will be playing Dead Space 2 in the meantime.
Honestly, the best thing to do would be contact the support team of whatever digital download distributor you purchased from, they will be able to confirm one way or another for you.

Playing through the original Dead Space made me go and order the sequel
I get a DA2 item for it too? I can dig that

One of my friends had Dead space 2 for xbox, and is not buying Dragon age 2. So, why exactly can I NOT use his xbox code, which he is not using, to get the armor for my PS3 DA II?
Personally not interested in buying "Resident Evil in Space", and no friend owns ps3 version. Also no video store in 20 miles. Rather silly to not allow PS3 owners to get thru a 360 code.
